Yes, this is, in fact, an official Phoenix Winterborn Roleplay. Enclosed within are the following: Sex, gratitious violence, probably a good amount of swearing, and other various things that kids (and some adults) may not be able to handle. If you happen to fall under one of the aforementioned catagories, please do not continue because you will be offended. If, however, you do not fall under those catagories, please continue on and enjoy! | | | Phoenix Winterborn was a man with many different situations he was haivng to deal with. Talon Hartman, his marriage to Karime Atora, his sister Midnight coming back...again. And now...now he had to deal with Gypsy popping off at the mouth and putting up her and Zarek Lyle's Ultimate Tag Team Championships on the next Chaos Theory. Phoenix needed a few moments to himself, so he took off to go sit on the hood of his car outside the arena. He wasn't quite in his ring gear yet, but he was still ready for a fight, like always. Unhooking the GWE Evolution Championship from around his neck, and looked at it. It held some special meaning to him. His first singles title in almost three years...and a chance to add more gold in less than 24 hours. Phoenix started speaking out loud to no one in particular... "The American Tradition" Phoenix Winterborn:
I've been around a long time...seen a lot, done even more. But now may be my most important moments in my career thus far. I have the chance to win two titles in as many weeks. The Domain icon leaky Format fell before me in Florida. Matlock and the Kamikaze both fell before me in chocolate town, and next to fall (i hope) will be the tag-team champions. Zarek Lyle is a man I have all the respect in the world for. He had my back when I first got here, and has been a big supporter of me my entire span here. The man has held every title that there is to hold in this company, the Evolution title included. He was one of the first people to congratulate me when I finally got to the back after Krystmas Kaos. I think more so because he wanted to see Leaky get shut up finally. And I was the man to do that. His girlfriend, on the other hand, is someone who has no repsect. Granted, I 've watched her in action, and she's dangerous, no doubt about it. But the thing with that is...she needs to work on her people skills, on the real. When Talon was talking to me, I don't believe anyone even asked her into the conversation, but whatever. She wants to get into my business, fine. I'll just have Karime put her in her place, while I show Zarek why and how I beat Leaky. After Friday...(he picks his championship belt back up) This won't be the only piece of championship gold i'll be holding... Soon after he finished, Karime opened the door of the arena, looking for him. SHe was looking incredible in her wrestling outfir for tonight. She picked out something special, seeing as how they were going into a championship match tonight. Her purple pants were glistening from the light in the lot and it reflected even more off her shirt. Silver and sparkly with a white egyptian ankh in the middle, right below the v of her neck. She looked over at her husband and leaned against the side of the building. Karime Atora-Winterborn:

(smiling) Thanks babe. (looking out over the city) So, you think we can do this tonight? Sans magic? He laughs and sticks his tongue out at her playfully. Karime Atora-Winterborn:
The kind of magic I was thinking of will take more than mere luck... She walked over in a sexy manner and playfully smacked him. Karime Atora-Winterborn:

True, true. I look at it like this. Zarek and Gypsy are good, but I know we're better. Hands down. (he leans down, kissing her lips) C'mon...I'm starting to get cold out here...(looking down at her chest) Looks like you are too... Karime feigns a gasp, and smacks his arm as he hops off the car hood, and straps the GWE Evolution Championship around his waist as the couple start to walk back inside, kissing. In the words of president-elect Barack Obama "It's time for a change." There was change in the air around the Domain as well. A new location, new champions, new faces. It was all around you, embracing you. Phoenix Winterborn, Karime Atora, Zarek Lyle, and Gypsy were all going to be part of change in just two short days on the next Chaos Theory. The four of them were going to be involved in a tag-team match for Zarek and Gypsy's Ultimate Tag-Team Championships. Gypsy had made the challenge to Phoenix last week, obviously sure of her and Zarek's abilities. What she wasn't counting on, however, was Phoenix and Karime's heart, determanation, and passion for stepping in that ring. Phoenix was more sure of himself than ever before after Krystmas Kaos, when he defeated Leaky Format to lay claim to the GWE Evolution Championship, and has been on a roll ever since, even defeating Matlock and Kabuki Dragon. But no one could deny that Phoenix was in for his biggest challenge to date within the halls of the Domain. Zarek Lyle and Gypsy were two of the Domain's top stars. In their storied tenures with the promotion, they have quite literally held every title that there is to hold, and now collectively, they are the Ultimate Tag-Team Champions. but it was also safe to say that the storied tenures of Phoenix and Karime Winterborn were just getting underway... Our scene opens up today in the Oceanside, California beachfront home of the Winterborns. Phoenix was standing at the glass wall, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The air conditioner was running as his black ECKO buttonup shirt was gently flapping since he was right under a vent. There was a red silhouette of a tribal phoenix silk-screened on the back of his shirt. Karime was shown down on the beach, walking around barefoot in the sand. She liked to go on her nature walks every day she could around this time. Which worked out okay in the end for Phoenix, because it gave him a little while to contemplate things. And this week, there was a lot to contemplate. Talon Hartman still wanted him for a few rounds outside the ring, Karime liked being protective of her new husband, and to top it all off...they had to fly to Trenton, New Jersey on Friday for Chaos Theory where they were taking on Gypsy ans Zarek Lyle for the Ultimate Tag-Team Championships. Thank the Goddess that he and Karime kept their home camcorder hooked up to his Alienware desktop computer, ready for a live feed to BUD.com whenever they needed it. People wanted to see Phoenix in action, be it on the mic or in the ring, kicking ass like only he knew how to do. Phoenix smirked and walked over the computer, logging onto the superstars only section of BUD.com, and onto his vlog (video blog). He clicked on the 'new entry' icon, and the camera took a few second to flicker on, which gave him a few seconds to get situated... "The American Tradition" Phoenix Winterborn:
I bet Gypsy and Zarek have got to be loving the gift of the paparazzi right now...you see, while Gypsy and Zarek were busy contemplating life and their match, myself and Karime were watching with vested interest, you could say. Gypsy, what else can be said about you? You're a damn near legend here. Bytch championess, Franchise champion...but you made a wrong move when you made the challenge to put up your tag team belts against me and my wife. You tend to run your mouth a lot, and this time, it's gotten you in over your head. Don't think for half a second that I feel sorry for you in the least when I layout you and your boyfriend flat on the canvas Thursday night. Speaking of boyfriends, that leads me into Zarek Lyle. Zarek, you've been nothing but a friend to me thus far. From our hating on Leaky Format and disputing his 'iconic' status here in the Domain, to you helping me get adjusted to the environment here. Ok, sure my mouth got a little bit ahead of me with my "Chippendale's dancer" comment. My mind blanked out for a moment. I realized afterwards who she was dating, so...my bad on that one. No harm, no foul. Just know that even though you and I are going to be on opposite sides of the ring Thursday, you still got my respect after the match, no matter the winner. I hate to break it to you two, but those belts are coming home with us this weekend, and we'll be able to add even more gold to the collection at the Winterborn abode. I bet you're asking where my wife is at, and why she isn't doing this promo with me. It's actually a simple answer. Nothing more than she's taking a walk right now to focus her energies and further prepare for this match. Otherwise, she would be up here me further deciding exactly how bad you're going to get beat. Oh, and Gypsy...I think you have your wires crossed on how witchcraft works, chica. There is no envoking of gods or goddesses or anything like that. No fireballs or things of that nature. So, grow up, get a reality check, and start thinking straight or this is going to be a short match for us, and the start of a long night for the two of you. Before he can continue, there is the sound of Anberlin's "The Resistance" started echoing from his phone. Still on camera, he walked up to the desk, where the camera was as well, and answered it, taking a few steps back. "The American Tradition" Phoenix Winterborn:
Hello?...Nah, I'm in the middle of a promo right now...yeah, i'll hit ya back when I get done, k?...Alright, man. Peace. Phoenix clicks a few buttons on his phone, putting it on vibrate, and shoving it in his pocket as he looks back at the camera. "The American Tradition" Phoenix Winterborn:
Sorry about that. Phone call from an old friend. Where were we?...Oh, yeah. Gypsy, the next time you threaten my sister-in-law, I promise you it will be the last thing you do for quite a long time. One thing you don't fuck with in my life is my family. You can talk all you want about me. Hell, you can wish death on me all, every day, but the first time you threaten or lay your hands on my friends and family...I promise you this much. It will be the last thing you do for awhile. Phoenix was getting ready to start back into Zarek when his computer started chirping with weird sounds. Phoenix walked over, and cut off the feed on the camera before checking to see why his desktop was whining at him... | | |

Such was the case in Trenton, New Jersey. The site of GWE Chaos Theory tonight. The card was highlighted by Drew Stevenson in his retirement match against Kit Black, but the match that everyone was talking about was the rivalry between BUD Ultimate Tag Team Champions Gypsy and Zarek Lyle and their opponents in their title defense tonight, Phoenix and Karime Winterborn. Most fans and critics expected Gypsy and Zarek to succesfully defending their titles. No one really expected Phoenix and Karime to get any offense in, but Phoenix and his wife had a few tricks up their sleeve. The scene opened up to the arena backstage standing by with Ernie Schivone: Ernie Schivone:
Ladies and Gentlemen, good evening and welcome to Chaos Theory. Standing with me at this time are the number one contenders to the Ultimate Tag Team Championships...Phoenix and Karime Winterborn. Phoenix, earlier today, Zarek Lyle posted a video on BUD.com, basically saying that you and your wife Karime stand no chance going up against the likes of him and Gypsy in this championship match. What are your thoughts on this turn of events? "The American Tradition" Phoenix Winterborn:
Ernie, it amazes me how ignorant some people are. Zarek, ok...you and Gypsy have been together since June? News flash...me and Karime have been together since High School...granted, we lost contact for awhile, but when we came back together here in BUD, we picked up right where we left off. In case you're not keeping track, that's a long time...almost a decade. Which, if my match is right, trumps your seven months by about...nine and a half years. Phoenix, 1. Zarek, 0. Another thing, ok, so you've defended the titles once and you didn't get a chance to do it again. Woo-hoo...I wasn't even really thinking about that, nor was I going to mention it. Get over your ego. Speaking of egos, so what if I do have a bit of one since winning the Evolution Championship? I think that after busting my ass since I got here, I deserved to get into some championship hunt, and two title matches in almost as many weeks has to say something about my ability in the ring. Zarek, I'm glad you see a bit of yourself in me. In all honesty, you are the person I want to be like...no wait. Scratch that. I want to be better than you. I am going to become the next icon of the domain. And there is a difference between respect and being someone's bitch. You seem to think that respect means that I'm just going to lay down for you. I see respect as something different, though. I see respect as going out there, and taking you to the limit and then some. You want a match from me? By the Goddess, you're going to get it. You want to know where I stand, Zarek? Really? You should know that by now. I stand where I always have.
