wHo aM i ?

Last week, it didn't go so well for Menacide. He lost to the Franchise champion and because of that.. she deserves all the credit in the world for putting up such a great fight and being able to pull it out in the end. But this week wasn't going to be about Menacide and Kit Black went at it.. this week was going to be about the match of the ages. It was going to be the match that all the fans wanted to see at the end of the battle royal when Drew got tossed out. Menacide versus Seifer - a match that has every possibility of contending for match of the year. The BUD Heavyweight champion versus the next man in line for the BUDvision championship. There was going to be a surprise around every corner and a fight to the finish between these two. No hatred between them, no blood lost between the two, just a mutual respect and the will to win, but this week for Menacide was just going to be a stronger will to win. He knows that Seifer is the biggest challenge right now in BUD, and he's facing him. Everybody is looking at this show as Drew Stevenson's farewell address but Drew versus Kit may be higher on the card but it isn't going to overshadow Seifer versus Menacide. The question is still roaming around, wondering who is Menacide? We've seen him use such a vast variety of moves and styles everything is in the air but this time Seifer cannot pretend like Menacide isn't there and just focus on Drew. This time Seifer cannot avoid anything and Menacide was going to take full use of it. It could be a death wish to some, taking the bull by the horns and going head to head with the legendary immortal but who knows... maybe Menacide is the legendary immortal... because that is just it, nobody knows and they will only know when the time comes. First BUDvision, then Heavyweight. And Menacide was going to use this match, win or lose, to send a message to Jay Styles to take care of the championship - to let him know Menacide is on the way, and to send a message to Seifer just as well that Menacide has his eyes set on the heavywight championship all the same.

Speaking of air, from earlier. The scene opens up and we've got a whole bunch of digital imaging going on here. HEY IT'S A DREW STEVENSON PROMO!  The sounds of a cool breeze is heard and the scene opens from a distance. We're staring up at a cliff not too far off, but its night out. The sun had just gone down, it was a full moon out and the setting was just beautiful in every sense as the moons reflection was seen in the pond just below the cliff and atop the cliff was a shadowed figure seen moving. There was a slight breeze that went by and next thing you know the camera cuts and we're at the top of the cliff with the shadowed figure just in front of us with his back turned. The attire is very familiar as he turns around and it is Menacide in this awkward location. Then again, Menacide always has a knack for choosing wierd locations for everything, heh, what can ya do, right? At least yawl know where I'm comin from. His cloak covers his attire but with a woosh the cloak is pushed to the side and his skeletal attire is seen and his head slightly tilts and no facial expression what-so-ever can be seen from the man of mystery,

Menacide, "Oh Seifer, Thursday you and I are going to finally have our chance to go one on one. We're going to finally have the chance to give all of the fans everything that they have wanted to see in their every waking moment since you won the battle royal and the heavyweight championship. Everybody has been wanting to see Seifer versus Menacide, they've wanted to see it to see if it really was you that should have won the battle royal or was it I that should have won? Would the result have been any different had you not reacted when you did? Am I mad? No, I'm not mad because you played it exactly how I would, Seifer. You were an opportunist and you took advantage of the situation. I was vulnerable and that is what had caused me to be eliminated in that situation in particular but now we've got the chance of going head to head and it won't be elimination style this time, Seifer. Pinfall or submission is how it's going to happen and I'm not going to be such as easy defeat this time around, Seifer, I won't allow for it to be the same way. You aren't going to face the same 'new guy' that was in teh battle royal. The fact that it is pinfall and submission changes everything Seifer, and I hope you realize that. You may be the heavyweight champion but you are not above me, Seifer, and you never will be and this match is what is going to be the match that shows it. One at a time we'll go out to the ring and the bell will sounds We'll stare each other in the eye and the mental games will have started already but you must keep in mind that I am not such an easy opponent, Seifer. You still don't know who I am, and through the times we have faced before I have never been an easy opponent to you, Seifer. You may have defeated me in FWA but I got right back up and you couldn;t keep me down. While you celebrated your W, my victory was much more satisfying because you tried to take me down and knock me out of your way but you failed, and now here we go at it again, the question by this time is are you ready for it, Seif? Are you ready to face what you really don't know? Of course you are, at least to the public eye because you're the champion here, but inside your head... I really don't think that you're ready for it. Sure you may always be fine with facing a new challenger but you just don't know what to expect and that is where I can stay one step ahead of you, champion or not."

Every word was nothing but the utmost truth. On camera, Seifer was always ready to face anybody, no matter what size or shape but was he really ready to face Menacide one on one after the battle royal? Was Seifer really prepared mentally for the task that was set in front of him.

Menacide, "I am far more than ready to come out guns a blazing, Seifer. I am ready to bring everything I have to make sure that I walk out of that ring on Thursday as the winner, Seifer. I know you will be bringing the fight but I have grown very much since the last time we fought, Seifer. My skills are always enhancing, my ability is always getting better and I will not rest until I am the very best of the best, Seifer, and at this point I need to move up the food chain and that means defeating you. There is always that fifty-fifty chance I may or may not walk out the winner but you're not going to have an easy win like I already said before, Seifer, and I am not coming out with any intention on taking a loss either. I will fight to my very last breath to make sure that I walk out the winner that night, at any cost. Anything it takes to win, Seifer, that is what I believe in. I believe the the win is all that matters no matter how you have to get it and that is why I can respect that you're the champion right now, and not myself but it will be no time at all when everybody, yourself included will be seeing us, Seifer, You and me, main eventing a pay per view with your championship on the line. I'll be coming to fight as the BUDvision champion, you'll be comong to fight as the Heavyweight champion and we'll have another match for the agess just like we're going to have on Thursday, Seifer. I still have my eyes set on the championship that you hold but Im taking a different road for the moment.. but after tonight our paths will cross one more time with your championship on the line, that is a promise that I will make you, Seifer, win or lose on Thursday this wont be the last the you see of me, and it won't be the last that BUD sees of Menacide going for the heavyweight championship because I have come back to the company with a calling, a calling that said IO have what it takes, a calling that said '****** this is your chance. This is the time that you need go to back and you have the talent, the skill and the ability to be on top.' THe calling was like a little voice in my head, Seifer, and I returned and I'm already at a peak of my career in this company I never thought I would be able to get to. Not because I wasn't talented enough but because management and I had not seen eye to eye more times than not and I was held down until my contract was either terminated or I walked out."

o0o0o0o, interesting.

Menacide, "I've heard the people trying to call me a Misery Two point Oh, I've people trying to insult me, make fun of me because of the fact I chose to put on a mask, come in under another identity to get where I needed to get in this damn company because it was going to be the only way that it was going to happen but trying to act like Misery? Not going to happen. See I'm not going to deny that I am somebody else.. but who I am, the question still remains. I'm not going to curtain jerk around here at the start of my career, and I'm not going to act like a little emo kid and try to play it off like I'm some dark character and work my way up only to reveal who I am.. no. I'm not going to play the game of chance and I've told myself that since I came back and competed at Krystmas Kaos. I refuse to start at the bottom when I don't belong there. I shot for the big time right away and now Im going for the BUDvision and soon enough Jay will have no other choice but to put that championship on the line against me and that will be the day that my calling starts to come true when I finally win the championship I was screwed out of getting before. Seifer, you've been around this company, around this business in general for a great deal of time, you've accomplished more in this business than anybody else ever has or ever will be able to accomplish and for that I respect you. You were the first and only male triple crown winner on the MSN circut. I was in the audience when you and the NLS celebreated your championship victory, and the fact you've done it twice and you're only one belt away from doing it three times, and even holding all three at once. You're the current BUD and PWT heavyweight champion and thats more than a lot of people can ever say about themselves, but you need to understand one thing Seifer. As much as I respect you for all you've done and what you've gone through to get to be who you are today, I still am not going to take it easy on you. I still refuse to back down and I will be taking the bull by the hornes and taking it down, one way or another Seifer. You're going to have the fight of your life, bud, I'll make sure of it. And Jay I hope you're watching this match very closely because I'm coming for you and when you see just what I can do to Seifer - when I shut all the mouths that say the only reason I was with the top guys of this company was because of a battle royal? Everybody will see that Menacide is here to stay and Menacide will be making a mark in this companies history, one way or another. Misery two point oh? Heh, you wish, Zarek. I'm everything "Misery" is and more."

Menacide begins to back up towards the edge of the cliff, not even looking where he is going. The ground is getting thinner and thinner but he keeps backing up. The camera man calls out to him and Menacide falls backwards off of the cliff. The camera man rushes over and looks over the edge but Menacide is gone. The reflection of the moon shines bright in the pond still, but takes form of the Menacide mask and we fade.

wHo aM i ?

One day away, just one day away from what is going to no doubt be match of the year. Seifer versus Menacide, the match everybody was paying to see. While Kit Black versus Drew Stevenson has a lot of potential it is not going be great enough to surpass what is coming before it by any means. We're looking at the match of the year, we're looking at the match that everybody has been wanting to see since the battle royal. While it may be true that Menacide started off the year with a loss - he still has the upper hand because he hasn't lost his game yet. His confidence hasn't fallen and it won't fall, not even if he loses to Seifer. Why? Because it's tha mutha fuckin' Seifer, yo. The guy has been all over and done so much you can't be ashamed if you manage to lose to him because not many have ever been able to defeat him but Menacide is confident enough that he will be able to say that he is one of the few people who has managed to do it. The matches in the past he hasn't been able to pull it out, but this time.. this time he looks to change history and not let it repeat itself. And as always, there is hopes that Jay Styles is watching. He already didn't like it that Menacide early on spoke of possibly using his finisher, I wonder how he'll like it once his strap is with Menacide and not with him anymore, eh?

The last we left our scene off we faded out when the reflection of Menacide's mask was in the bond just below the cliff that was the center focus of the promo. Well, we haven't quite left this place.. we're just in a new area, I guess. Imagine a grander picture with different quadrants, we're in another one. Got it? GOOD, nucka. in the distance, woods can be seen, a mini-forest or something like that. A figure is seen standing in front of them. Of course we know it's Menacide but you can;t really make it out from that distance. The camera starts to rush to the scene and a few moments later we're caught up. Menacide doesn't speak a word he just waives his arm to follow and begins walking into the woods. The camera follows but Menacide has dissapeared into teh darkness, leavin' ol' camera boy alone in tha dark an that just aint cool mayne.  Cracklin' is heard all around tha guy, and yawl are probably wonderin' whats goin' on, ain't ya? Well, things go silent and really quick. It's like some blair witch shit or somethin', then from around tha corner Menacide pops out, well, he more comes down from tha top of the sceen an lands on his feet. Causes tha camera man to jump backward a bit an Menacide just tilts his head a bit off to tha side an it looks like he smirks briefly but it is gone quickly. Perhaps a hint of who he is? Now here's tha messed up part, theres tha cowboys logo on his mask, it's really tiny but it's noticeable still.

Menacide, "Seifer, we're just a day away from the epic fight. We're just a day away from the time we finally go one on one. Nobody else in the match, just two guys fighting for their own reasons, and our own reasons lead us down different paths. But you just need to remember, Seifer, while I may have my primary focus on the BUDVision championship it doesn't mean my eyes are off of your strap, my good friend. I still have every intention on running for that championship and once again this is going to be a night that I prove that I can continue to maintain my run with the top stars, with the best of the best and it will be the night that I am set in stone for a shot at your championship, Seifer, so don't worry about this being our last fight - because this battle is far from over, Seif, far from over. But tomorrow nights Chaos Theory is going to be a non-title bout and that is just fine for me because it will earn my shot for the heavyweight strap like I've already said. I'm glad to see that you are actually taking the fight seriously, Seifer - perhaps you aren't as stupid as majority of the people I have faced, and that would be a good thing. It means a war can be forged between us - but a war of respect and just to see who really is the better athlete. A war of who should be on top of the company right now when the scenario is just you and I, Seifer. As you can tell, I am not coming on camera and saying that Im going to win, I'm not going to belittle your skill or anything you have done because you deserve all the respect in the world for it, bud, but if you thought you would have an easy bout, like I said in my last promo, Seifer, it isn't going to hapen. See if I was going to say that I would defeat you hands down, I wouldn't be coming to fight, Id be slacking off because I'd think that this would be a blow over match, Id take into consideration that id have thought to be on such a higher level than you, that regardless of what youve done it wouldn't have made you better than me. That is how I would think if I was an idiot, Seifer, but as we both know that isn't the case. Everybody as much as they may choose to deny it are always talking about the 'who am i?' idea, they're always talking about Menacide, so it obviously does matter to them who I am, Seifer. In your mind you don't seem to care but while you're facing one man, it's going to be like facing a variety of MSNs top athletes, and the question here is, Seifer, as 'great' as you are, even as an unarguable MSN legend, can you handle facing all of your top opponents in the same match, Seif? because that is what is going to happen."

Menacide had paused and waived his hand again and beganto walk toward the darkness again. This time the camera-dude is smarter and keeps up with Mena as they travel through the woods. They take a sharp right turn about fifty feet forward from their last destination and a blue reflection shines up like a bright light, almost like a signal marker if we were like Indiana Jones, or somethin.

Menacide, "Just ahead."

Menacide had muttered these words and continued to walk about twenty feet forward and stopped, lookoing back to the camera man that was catching up.

Menacide, "The Mystical lake. See, this lake is like you, Seifer. It possesses a lot of great, phenominal abilities and it has been through so much but sometime, the lake has to meet it's end. It isn't a very beautiful lake as it once used to be may years ago. The people have ruined it, and it is no longer pure and powerful, it has grown weak and it has begun to slowly fade away. Everyday it grows weaker and it fades away even more. In a few months time it may very well be entirely gone, or on it's last string of luck. Seifer, it is just like us. You are the pond, Seifer, you are the pond that grows week from taint over time. And while you still fight to stay on top your time is very limited until the next structure comes along and takes this land for itself. We're going to fight Seifer, we're going to fight like there is no tomorrow. We'll end up bloodied, battered, bruised, hurt but still pushing as we fight for the top prize... though that won't be for sometime. At this point you're the pond just trying to fight to mainstain your structure and live to fight another fight, and that is the respectable trait about you, Seifer. You're always willing to fight but I'm going to be the struvture that moves on, the next generation that starts to make my mark and it just has to be you that I face. You may be right, Seif, I may not have to win to be consdiered a top contender, a future challenger for your championship, I may only have to prove that I can "hang" but I intend on doing more than just being able to "hang" Seif, I intend on winning. I intend on bringing out the big time, the strong firepower. Just like it won't be easy for you, it won't be easy for me, but I have no intentions on letting you come out with the victory if I can help it either, Seif. I'm ready for a fight."

Menacide steps off to the side into the darkness, and we fade.
