Character's Biography.
Tyler Hayden, or just “Haywire�?is a slacker superhero with a proficiently for criminal behavior. He’ll beat his competitor senseless, then steal there car. Tyler has a somewhat sideways perspective on the world that can give his opponents the false impression that he’s just an easy going prankster. But Haywire is not a man to be taken lightly in competition. He is a master of highflying moves, ground based submission and hardcore brutality. He can change gears at the drop of a dime, showing little mercy while venting his inexhaustible appetite for destruction. However is not an animal. Tyler is intelligent, well read, and a master tactician. All his most dangerous qualities are hidden beneath a wise cracking veneer. Growing up, Tyler’s parents were musicians (English father, American Mother) playing with some of the loudest and hardest punk and metal bands of the nineties. Haywire grew up in an environment of drugs, women and sex. He’s never known any other way to live his life but fast. And he likes it that way. Thus far, Tyler has held one half of the W2K Tag team championship (undefeated) MR. Scarie. And has also been the NRA Vicious Champion. Recently Tyler has married a former music journalist and long time wrestling fan, Trinity Sloan. Trinity fell for Tyler immediately when she interviewed him back in 2006 for Esquire magazine. They’ve had a fiery on-off affair ever since that intensified in 2007 when Trinity began research for her novel, “Power slams and Blade Jobs, the dirty side of the mat�? an expose on the power struggles and scandals of the game. As Tyler’s PA she’s absolutely ruthless. She brings out the Haywire in Tyler. During his recent run in W2K, Tyler gained the Impact championship from Dante Cross, an intense feud followed which still remains unresolved to this day.
Detailed Enterance.
The chimes of London’s Big Ben sound. The lights fade out. The arena plunged into an abrupt darkness. Cell phone camera flashes are only able to punch fleeting holes in the solid twlight. As the chimes sound, they begin to slow down, warping; the chimes twisting and reverberating into something haunting and sinister as they echo like crazed phantoms around the venue. On the tron we see strange occult symbols. Words in ancient languages from Aramaic to Egyptian hieroglyphics, red on a black background, all are overlapping each over, struggling for supremacy until the tron is nothing but crimson. Match cut to a burning nighttime horizon; in a series of quick cuts we reveal mayor cities all across the globe, London...New York...Paris...all aflame. We centre in on New York, flying through canyons of twisted steel and burning masonry as the skyline is awash with fire. The scene on the tron crash dives towards street level, then banks sharply upwards, running along the side of the famed Empire state building, the camera gathering momentum until it reaches it’s zenith point and we see a figure, strong purposeful, hidden behind a veil of shadow, standing tall...arms out stretched. The silhouette remains still. Eventually, the chimes stop. Back on the tron, the silhouetted figure moves out from the darkness as the crowd erupts in cheers.

The stage fills up with a shroud of mist as a figure moves within, arms out stretched, while back on the tron we see Tyler hitting his signature moves...”The Wire cutter�? “The Ty-Breaker�? “The Highwired Act�?on various victims. Over this are the words, “These are the signs of the return, heed them�? Quick cuts on the tron now of Tyler walking down a apocalyptic city street that arcs outwards at a crossroads; the streets are lined with overturned, burnt out cars. At the crossroads a crow perches itself on a twisted street sign, like a deformed hand with broken, ruined fingers. The sign points towards London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Washington. Tyler reaches the sign. “So, who’s next?�?As Tyler speaks on the tron, the figure in the mist emerges. It’s Tyler Hayden. He’s dressed in his wrestling garb of Black sex pistols T-shirt, faded jeans, dirty white adidas sneakers, with tape around the hands and wrists. The crowd erups into a vocal “HAYWIRE�?chant as Tyler spins on the spot, more blue and purple pyrotechnics explode around him as he marches down the ramp towards the squared circle. As he reaches the foot of the ring Tyler Smiles, lifts his hands into the air as the four ring posts explode momentarily into flame. After a moment the flames die down, Tyler chooses this moment to enter the squared circle, soaks in the adulation from the crowd. |
