Harold..since MSN will be closing our Groups soon, do you have any thoughts about what to do about this group?  I haven't heard anything from Rancher who actually started this one as a off shoot of the regular Heaven room.  I'm not exactly sure what to do right now.  Multiply has given me (and YOU too) the option for moving this room to the new venue.  What do you think?

Mercy DDD, I haven't the slightest idea about this "move".  I am open to all ideas and thoughts.  I don't know if we will follow the 'main room' because we are an off-shoot of it or not.  I definately want to keep this venue alive with 'our members'.  Maybe Merlin has thoughts about this, although he hasn't posted in quite awhile.  I haven't been to the Multiply site (or whatever it is called) but I think we should make it easy for us all to transfer.  I haven't been in the 50's room since this site was started by Rancher.

My knowledge on how to change our group to Multiply or any other server (?).  I have been meaning to contact you about this and apoligize for my neglect.  I will click on the announcement after I post this today.  IF Multiply is quick and easy and hassle free, I have no objections to the transfer.  A question though:  Say we change sites 12/01/08, will this site still be up and will they both intermingle until Feburary 2009?  Damn, I hate to change boats in the middle of the river, somebody is bound to get a wet ass.

From what I am reading in Community Feedback you should wait for msn to move the group. Some have tried to do the move now and it has been a big mess for them. They have lost things in their group that did not transfer over. If you want a straight forum, Yahoo is pretty easy. So is Google. You might want to check those groups out. Set up something there now where we can meet for sure. I have tried Multiply and I don't like it. Most people that are posting about it don't like it either. Maybe msn live groups will be good.

Harold, I'm inclined to take a "wait and see" stance here.  At least for awhile.
Our friend, Gunner has quit ALL her groups because someone apparently deleted her main group, CBF, that she started four years ago and of which I am also (or was) a member.  JohnN is also a member of that group as well as this group.
I'm going to click over to the main Heaven room and try to get Rancher's attention and see what we should do.
This is a big mess.  If I don't have this room, who am I going to argue politics with in such a nice and orderly way?

Well in the main group we are waiting for now as we have plenty of time and more options may become available later on............plus this gives sites such as multiply time to work the bugs out..............    Rancher

Two of my groups have moved to Multiply with no problem although it takes about 48 hours to transfer.  Let me know what you all decide.  I am so tired of the political scene (both sides) I am considering a move to Australia or someplace.  Both of them in the Oval office scare me.

The group JohnN and I belong to have also moved to AIMOO.  It appears to be an easier site with which to work.  We will just wait some more until Rancher makes his decision.  He will be telling us all in this room when that time comes.

That is funny you should bring up Aimoo Dee. I just found out about that group yesterday at Community Feedback and have started a test group there. Here is the link to CF and Aimoo too.

Yes Kat..I think Harold and will check into this but only after we know if we are "wedded" to the original Heavens 50's group or we have to start up on our own. We certainly appreciate your input into this.  We would hate to lose our small group of rebeilious politicos.
I also belong to the community feedback group and have been trolling their site for useful informaiton.  Since they don't plan on migrating anyway, they are just giving advice at this time.  First advice given is to take a "wait and see" approach.  That's what we intend to do so as not to make our members uncomfortable  or ticked off. Keep us informed about what you learn.  We thank you.
