Using the Keyboard  shortcuts can  make life on your PC easier and allows you to work faster and reduces your use the mouse and menus.  These shortcuts are for Windows operating systems.

 To Press 
 Copy  CTRL + C
 Cut  CTRL + X
 Paste  CTRL + V
 Undo  CTRL + Z
 Delete  DELETE
 Rename a selected item  F2
 Select all  CTRL + A
 Switch between open items  ALT + TAB
 Move through items in order in which they were opened  ALT + ESCAPE
 Display the Start menu  CTRL + ESCAPE
Search for a file or folder  F3
 View properties for a selected item  ALT + ENTER
 Refresh the active window  F5
 Quit the active program or close the active item  ALT + F4
 Close the active document  CTRL + F4
 Activate the menu bar in the active program  F10
 Open the next menu to the right or open a submenu  RIGHT ARROW
 Open the next menu to the left or close a submenu  LEFT ARROW

 Select more than one item in a window or on Desktop or text in a document

 SHIFT with any of the ARROW keys
