Choose your picture ...
Right click on it ....
Choose Open With ...
Pick Paint
......................................................
On the next screen ...
Click on the small dotted SQUARE Box
This will add 2 coloured boxes
Click on BOTTOM of the 2
Click on the A
...................................................................
Move curser onto the pic
Hold down LEFT mouse button
Draw a box ..... by
keep LEFT mouse button down and drag curser either UP or DOWN and then to the RIGHT
When you have the desired size let go
AT ANY STAGE IF FROM THE ABOVE IF YOU GO WRONG GO TO EDIT AND UNDO......................................................
( you can extend the box by placing curser on drag handles until pointer changes to a double ended arrow and then drag in whatever direction ( drag handles are sited in corners and mid way points are a darker colour) )
Click in box you have just drawn
The font tool bar will appear
Pick your font and your size and B
( Do not make it too big to start with I suggest 18, you can alter it later)
PICK colour from options shown at bottom ( you can choose other colours by clicking on colours in tool bar but I suggest you leave that bit for now) just click on desired colour
TYPE in box
HIGHLIGHT your typing by clicking to the RIGHT of it and drag LEFT
Now you can change font size and colour if you wish.
Keep it highlighted while you play about.
When your happy with it..................................
File
Save as ............
Choose where you want to save it ,,,,,
Rename it in file name box ( ie your name)
Save as type .......... I choose 24Bit Bitmap but it will save as JPEG but sometimes colours distort.
Click save
close Paint
Find it in the file you saved it.
DONE
