About a fortnight ago, I noticed my 'puter was getting slower and slower. It now takes up to a minute to 'fire up' sfrom start (I timed it).
I deleted cookies and temp files and history but it didn't make much difference.
Then I tried to do a system restore but couldn't get any dates to restore back to.  It offers todays date only, and when I click the previous month - nothing happens.
I haven't installed any hard or software either.
Whats up?
DBarb

sounds like you system registry is bunged up,
you can buy a registry cleaner on-line for about £20.00. this takes all the unnecessary button press messages your PC has recieved and speeds up your PC no end.
