 I think my middle name should be STRESS,yesterday the water board came to look at a leak,dug a big hole,removed my water meter and left,I could not get my car out,15 phone calls up to this morning and the highways on to them,they returned,put a metal lid over and cleared off,now who knows when they will return to tarmac it,then the water board have to come and fit a new meter,never have I seen the scenario of British workmen,as for the water board,there enough to drive you to drink.Ive noticed my other group people seem to be despondent and not posting much,the manager has set up a new group in Nexum,but I dont like it,cant make head nor tail of postings etc. Someone else has checked live mail and said its more like a blog,so I think lots of people are going to lose friends and enjoyment come Feb 9th. |

Foxy you should have called the police, as effectively the water board had made you their prisoner   rofl The 'little ordinary person ' stands no chance today against these companies, they charge what they like for their services, and it seems with governments approval as they sure as hell do nothing to cap price rises  Our voices are not heard anymore, no matter how loud we shout and God forbid we have to ask them to fix something, that is always their fault that it doesn't work etc. As for groups, yes I've noticed people are not posting anymore, even in this group  Still we can't blame them can we with what Msn has done  Many people I know have said they will not use the new sites. I still haven't made my mind up yet. I've visited a couple but there is just not the same atmosphere as with Msn groups, the spontaneity isn't there as such. It's all so sad |

Well I got the hole filled,course they dont do tarmac,thats another lot,then another lot have to install new water meter,I told them,they built the taj Ma Hal quicker than you lot. Today council man came re dropping the pavement,my luck again,only one half is dropped,are you ready for this,between £200 to £400,I was amazed,I told them ring me when you have sent me the quote and I will have a double brandy before I open it. Re groups,I am sick of the new sites,I cannot make head nor tail of even how to read let alone post,so I think I will be giving them a miss,so will be reduced to E/M and playing on pogo,lol. Anyway now to cook lunch. |

Hi girls been struggling to post here for a couple of days its so slow I have to do a couple of messages then leave it and come back later in the day I understand exactly what to mean on both subjects in this thread.keep posting we have a few mths yet you never know someone might come up with something.Ginger |
