This was posted in a Group I visit, although I'm not a member, and I feel this is the way a lot of groups will go sadly

Dear Members...

Due to all the changes with msn groups closure and no other near alternative there seems to be no option but for this group to close. There are alternative Forums/blogs/spaces etc, but nothing that can resemble these old msn groups. Many good old members have now stopped posting or left the group altogether, msn has had so many problems, closing the chat room, slow faulty servers etc. I have tried to make a few alternative (group blogs etc) on various sites and had both my two storage emails with Hotmail hacked into-and been locked out of, and completely unable to have them back. Personally I dont like the idea of live hotmail and live spaces and mesenger now-certainly doesnt seem very private! If your email adress is used for other purposes than msn-ie online banking/ebay/etc..it needs to be Ultra secure. And I dont think Hotmail/Msn is secure now. I hope all members wishing to stay in contact with each other arrange to do so now. It is a sad time..but nothing stays the same. Anyone making their own group elsewhere please feel free to put up the link for others in the Group while it is still open. I wish everyone good luck and a big Thank You to all who have contributed here.

Thank you,I will pass this on,I myself left a group yesterday as do not like all these different groups they are setting up,so apart from E/M will lose touch with people.

My other group are people living alone,or widowers & widows,they post and feel like a little family,sadly this will all change,one good thing,Ive managed to help a friend on Vista set up Incredimail just by installing Yahoo,Incredimail were so helpful at showing what to do.

That was good of you then Foxylady to help some one help mate . so many people can understand most stuff on this thing. but alot like me need help. so your good to give help foxylady.

Hi Bambi all this trouble MSN is causing for people is not good. A lot of people depend on these groups ,just make sure all your contacts are on your instant messenger then you can do a group chat on there, to do that open up a message box and at the top left hand corner click on invite someone to this conversation . FAY

I for one will miss my groups a couple ime in are closing one has gone to yuku com

beeing disabled i dont get out much and will miss the contact with people

Hello Fay. i do feel sorry who are closing there groups, but the older we are the worse it is for us to accept all this change mate.it does take some getting used to, we are going in to Aimoo which seems a good chat and easy and fun,a lot of things in there to play with icons ect.they move your stuff over for you to Fay.naturally the chat room is private with your room love. but ive got daughter as my other manager and she picks up quicker than mother mate . which is good, if you want my addy its [email protected] be nice to have a chat Fay . i can add you to my list love. Thanks Ginger i have used that to on messenger to have talk with few others mate. pity msn could not of charged us a sensible fee , and left us to it, think may be a lot would of appreciated that to. as comming winter to and people not getting out its not good, well im hoping to get the hang of it all soon.hate changes mates. take care love Bambi
