Missing cat home after 13 years

A Californian couple had an unexpected reunion with an old housemate: their pet cat which went missing more than 13 years ago.

George was last seen by Melinda Merman and Frank Walburg in 1995. He recently resurfaced when the manager of a mobile home park found him and took him to a vet.

An implanted microchip allowed him to be traced back to his owners. They said George was eating well and displaying some of his old behaviour, like jumping at flickering light on the wall.
