Its not the mobile phones that annoy me as much as the faceless voices that come on the land line offering you a FREE mobile if you do this that or the other and sign up with them. They can stick their free mobiles we don`t want one, if we did we would go to one of the MANY mobile phone shops and buy one.

Last year i took a phone on contract from uk phones. On april the 20 thet rang me to say as my contract was running out they were sending me a new phone to start another contract. as i didn't want a new phone or a contract i returned it with the old phone.

Since then i am bloody sick of them ringing me up wanting to know why i returned the phone! The people you speak to are bloody indians or pakistani's all having english names (as if). the last straw and this is where i threatened to go to the call centre and personally stuff it up his arse ,is when they now say my contract has another 6 months to run. To say i exploded would be a understatement. I told them they are not having another penny of me and any more nuisance calls i will be going there and doingsome damage to either the staff or the premises

They are ok and have their uses for convenience i have one for victim support but otherwise could live without one

I like mine for the security it gives me, but I get very annoyed with people who walk about with them clamped to their ears all the time.

And as to using them at the supermarket checkout ........durh

OK IT MAKES YOU WONDER HOW WE EVER COPED WITHOUT MOBILE PHONES DOESNT IT ?.

BUT NOW I WOULDNT BE WITHOUT MINE, ITS A LIFE LINE FOR ME WHEN I AM OUT ON MY OWN , AND IF ANYTHING HAPPEN I AM ONLY A PHONE CALL AWAY.

I AGREE WITH YOU AS WELL TIN , YOU COULDNT BE WITHOUT YOURS WITH ALL THE MONTHS YOU HAVE HAD WITH FRED BEING IN HOSPITAL. SO I AM VERY GLAD THAT WE HAVE THEM NOW. ROSE.
