What are your views on compulsory organ donations - would you opt 'in' or 'out'?  And do you want the option of opting?

By the time I've finnished with my organs Barb They wont be any good to anyone so it doesnt bother me that way Regarding compulsory donations I think the world could be on a slippery slope and! could it take the balance of all the extra people that have been saved through donatons either volantary or compulsary?  and how do we Know how far the medics are prepared to go? how hard would they then fight to save the life of a possible doner if they had somebody waiting in a queue for a spare part? not sure they should make it compulsory and lets face it it doesnt always suit Everyone to think they are a part  on a potential assembley line    Jean

Compulsory? Really?
Do I think it sould be compulsory no...not ever.
Do I believe in it and am I an organ donar...yes absolutely.
Someone should never be forced to do something with their body or the body of a loved one that might not fit into their particular views or religious convictions.

Your right of course Tia after all our body is the only thing that is truely ours from birth to death so it should be our decision even after death what is to be done with it. Ginger
