I have a coal fire - is this a very environmentally unfriendly way of keeping warm?   Would it be better for the planet if I used gas or electricity?
DBarb
ps - don't say just put on another jumper, I've already done that!

i love nothing better than staring into a coal fire, you can see anything you want in there. It may be "ungreen" but what the hell its great to come home to. After all what can you see in an electric fire or a radiator?
