The struggles with humour and contemporary laughter promoting situations and stories are plethora. Almost all of them pertain to culturally specific items. The challenges of inter-national communiques also bring about changes in frames of reference, from which the typical "joke" is based. Be not decieved God is not mocked What a man sows That shall He also reap. The part that is to be clarified is that Jesus was never decieved. He understands each persons frame of reference. His life was of a sober and serious nature much of the time since He was aware of ALL the things that were going on, and desired that none should be lost but that all should reach repentance (the gift He offers.)
