2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen French-cut beans
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. almond spears
1/8 tsp. MSG or Accent
1/8 tsp. rosemary, dry
Pinch of dry basil
Place beans, water and salt in a medium saucepan. cover and bring to a boil on HIGH heat. When vegetables steam and the lid will spin, reduce heat to LOW and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. With lid slightly ajar, drain off liquid.
While beans are cooking, brown almonds in butter over MEDIUM Heat. WATCH CAREFULLY!
Just before serving, toss with butter, almonds, MSG, rosemary and basil. Taste! Reseason if necessary.
