I am working a lot of hours to hopefully go to Union College this fall. I would like to see if anyone of you go there to let me know what it is like and to make contact. I have been accepted, I just need to get a lot more money.

I didn't go to Union College but I went to Kingsway College in Ontario. I loved living in the dorm. I would encourage you to do whatever you can in order to go. My years at Kingsway were GREAT.

Hello Serarae ~11:08pm17jun2004
Sure is nice to recollect some thoughts on my Alma Mater!....of course, current details might be helpful..hmm ...Union and me got aquainted back around 1982, and continued rather consistently for three years...then in 1997 homecoming, we got to reconnect.
Some of my church members have been going there, .. The faculty are enduring...the squirrels on the front lawn are a joy, the grounds are a bona fide arboretum.. and there is opportunity to study whatever you would like, and to interact with others in both sacred and secular attitudes.
My hope for you Serarea, is that you will enjoy that liberal arts college, and take time to counsel with some of the loving and caring teachers there. Charles Friedline (Chemistry) really cared for me and others who were under his instruction, and some eight years ago he was still a favorite item for his colorful worship talks....Marilyn Carr (Girls dean) is another personable staff member...so many fond recollections!
My first year was full of adjustments...my hope is that you have found your major course of study by your second year while enjoying the fellowship and other resources at your disposal...
anyway... blessings as you seek to earn your way!
Tell Tom Becker (Computer Services) hello from "Shaun St. Clair" if you feel courageous! He has been one of the more influential individuals in my life experiences... (^___^)

It's accross the street from the colliege view sda church. I think it's one of the most lovely campuses I'v seen. Feel very privlieged to have been accepted there. If u need info about Lincoln u have my email in this chatroom member list. God Bless. Garry |
