This was sent to me, I would like to share it with you: *****
So many of us want a relationship. I know that I get frustrated with being single at times. Well here is what God has told me. God wants our focus to be on HIM. He doesn't want us to be focused on finding that special one. We need to seek His face and follow Him in a DAILY relationship. That means praying, getting into the Word, and listening to God on a daily basis. God's wanting to show us that we can find true happiness in Him alone. He wants us to realize that we don't need that relationship with a b/f or g/f or spouse. We need God! God wants us to see that all our desires can be fullfilled by Him. He wants to be all we long for and want. So we need to forget about relationships. Don't worry with them, don't think about them...just focus on your relationship with God. Then, when we realize that we have all we need in Christ alone and we're so in love with Him, He will show us an earthly picture of that love. When we are completely satisfied (not 99% but 100%) with Him, he will bless us with a relationship. (Just don't forget to keep your relationship with God after you've found the one!). And with our focus on God, we'll be able to have a godly relationship, too! Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:7-8 |

finally I got here Texas. Yes God wants our focus on Him and we should understand that He is what makes us complete, not another individual. He and He alone is our God and no one should be put on a pedestal. Deb-42-usa |
