Starting my own path is so adventuresome!...a little bit much for me today, so here is a fine available nook already started!

Yes, originally, the town of Gebal was noted for its boat sealant: caulking.

A dear fellow of mine did great business with glue.

He worked and perfected a product that was so good that when world war two came along, and the boat men needed help to make their p. t. boats seaworthy, they tested lots of glues

His was chosen, and he became very wealthy because of that military need.

He gave me an important counsel some thirty years back.

"Find something and stick with it."

Gebal, the town, was also named Byblos.

In my view, the concept of the codex (the books that we have in most of our libraries, as compared to scrolls, which are also termed books) entails the use of glue.

How interesting to me that the term "Bible" as we handle it now, refers to a collection of books.

It is so nice to be able to type a little more now-a-days.

To be back in the saddle as it were.

Grace to our group!

of course, John Bunyan called the Bible the "Best of Books" and that suits me fine!
