Many of you have built Comms here on MSN.  Most of you are aware MSN will no longer host Groups that are of an Adult nature.

As of May 8th, MSN will be closing and deleting all Adult rated Comms.

All Adult rated Comms and their contents will vanish and will not be able to be migrated to the new hosting platform, WG.

This also includes the membership of our Comms.  I suggest that all Comm owners alert their friends and members of this deadline.

I also want to dispell a rumor that persists despite the overwhelming evidence that negates it.

Migrating your members to WG is free
and does not require
credit card Information

MSN has provided all Group owners the opportunity to transfer (migrate) their Adult rated Groups to a new platform henceforth referred to as WG.  Some owners chose not to migrate their Groups and members for a variety of reasons. So be it, that was their prerogative.

Some owners chose to modify and rate their Groups as Mature and stay on MSN. Although it appears that this choice might be a "slippery slope" (which I will address in another post), it was a choice some owners made. So be it, their choices have been made.

The owners of ... Thè Gãthèriñg ... Thè Pãlãcé ... and ... Thè Gárdéñ ... all chose to migrate these groups and their members to the new WG platform. Many of you have already joined us in WG along with many new members.

Some have chosen to throw in the towel because of the changes ... grimacing as they rant on and on about censorship, honor, freedom of speech, respect, morality ... and would have us believe that the end has come and the fun of on line is over!  I can't help but recall the wisdom and words of John “Bluto?Blutarsky when facing the challenge of what others saw as the demise of the Delta House.  Bluto adamantly and eloquently proclaimed:

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the going gets tough . . . the tough get going. Who's with me? Let's Go!!!!!!

The only thing that is over are the debates, discussions, opinions, rumors, and judgments of the change and choices.  Besides being irrelevant they have little impact on the realities of the changes that exist in the present. So if you must ?find a place where people want to continue the impotent harangue regarding changes with MSN and WG because it just does not belong in here.

I want to emphasize that everyone was given the opportunity to make their choices regarding these changes. The choices have been made, the debates conducted, the opinions expressed, and the judgments passed.  What's done is done ... so be it ... let it be ... and let's get it on with it.  It is time to “get going?and be productive with whatever opportunities are available ?if you choose to do so.

Change is always difficult ... no matter what the anticipated outcomes might be.  I would prefer that these changes had not been made ?but they have.  So I will be thankful that MSN gave Me the opportunity to learn some things, have a lot of fun, share some knowledge, create some beauty, and to laugh and cry with others.  The Groups I have built or contributed to have been a source of pleasure for Myself as well as many others.

With the alternative of the new WG platform, MSN has provided Me the opportunity to continue doing so and for this I am thankful as well.  I plan on making the most of this opportunity and take advantage of the freedom to continue enjoying on line in WG in the same ways MSN allowed Me to.  In this sense, consider this group as a component for all of you who wish to continue enjoying the things we do ?on both WG and MSN ?as respectful, open-minded, fun-loving, and responsible adults
