These are pictures of a little lamp I made today.  I glued a battery powered candlestick onto a small glass plate and then took a nut and glued it into the center of a glass container, turned it upside down onto the nut and made a lamp..:)  You're actually supposed to use teacups and saucers but this was an experimental one for me..:)
love n hugs,
Sheila
ps..the lighting wasnt great this evening so I hope you can figure out what i'm talking about when you look at the pictures..lol

lol..thanks gals..:)  Genny, knock yourself out...make a tag..LOL
here's how to make them in case you want to make one:

you need:
either a saucer OR just a plain glass plate for the base
either a battery operated candlestick OR an electric one
either a matching tea cup OR something glass that will match your base
a nut (not the kind you eat..lol)
some strong glue ( I used what's called E6000) and found it at Crafts2000 but i'm sure you can get it most places.
Then....all you do it simply glue the candlestick to the base plate.  Then, glue the nut into the center of your top piece (which will make your lamp shade).  Turn the piece upside down, forming your shade (after the glue has dried of course) and voila'!  you have your lamp...:)
love n hugs,
Sheila
