Hi people well yesterday i renewed my first aid certificate for my volentear job of hydropool supervisor i have to resit it every 2 years to see if i am still up to scratch and ile tell you either those springs in the manikins are getting stronger or i am getting old after doing C P R for about 10 minutes i was pretty pooped, for anyone who has not done C P R  for a while its changed from 2 breaths -15 compresions   to 2 breathes 30 compresions, the clever people in hospitals have found out 15 compresions only just gets the blood to the brain but not around it hence changing to 30 compresions, it can tire you fairly quickly, i had to do C P R  on an adult manikin a youth and finaly a baby manikin.
I am pretty keen on first aid i used to work with st john ambulance i was with them for 10 years and it gives you a lot of satisfaction in helping people, anyone else do this sought of work TEDDY

Well done Teddy!! , Baz did a first aid course whilst out of work and he said it's changed too but they only used 1 dummy to work on, I reckon you must be pretty fit, again well done to you. X
