Well i put another hundred petunia seeds in today and i found another snail he/she is now in snail heaven, they is several things you can do when you plants are out side to give the snails a hard time 1/ put a saucer of beer near your plants they go mad on beer then to fat to move 2/ spread crushed egg shells around the base of the plant the egg shells dig into the frail body 3/ spread dolermite dust around your plant, some say use snail bait thats ok till it gets wet, but i had a good idea for future weedlings , in our local coffee shop he uses a metal cage in the shape of a dome on his muffins to keep insects off i thought if it keeps flys off it would keep snails off only the very smallest would get through so i will be looking to buy 2-3 from my hardware store A S A P
TEDDY
