Winking and Blinking

You will only be using two layers and will be using the brushes in this effect.  The brushes take practice but the results are well worth the effort..:)
Once you have your tube opened in psp, go up to edit and down to copy.
Open a new image, say around 600x600 (giving yourself lots of room to work) and go up to edit and paste as a new layer to place your tube onto the canvas.
Add your text and keep in mind, if you want to leave your image transparent, leave off the dropshadow.
Go up to layers and down to merge visable (if you've added a name)
Go up to layers and down to duplicate.
Make sure your top layer is highlighted and click on your zoom tool and zoom in close on the eyes.
Once you have have the eyes on the screen where you can see to work, click on your effects brushes.  The one we will be using first is the PUSH brush so click on that one.
For the settings along the top of the screen, set your size to 2 or 3....keeping in mind that the larger tip will be quicker but...the smaller brush gives more detail.
This brush is called a push brush because it basically pushes the color around.  Click on the skin tone part close to the eye and push the paint towards the middle of the eye.
Leave the dark line below the eye...only use the push brush from the top of the eye till the eye is completely covered  except for the eyelash line on the bottom lid.

Once your eye is covered, switch to your SOFTEN brush and use size 5 or 6.

Make a couple passes over the area that you just painted on to soften the lines made while painting.  Don't go overboard...!!!  or your work wil look blurred.  Just a couple times over it will do.
If you want to make your tube blink instead of wink, do the other eye just the same as you did this one.
Now, click on your zoom tool and zoom back out to your regular image size.
Now, you should have 2 layers in your layers palette....both un x'd ...
One should have the eye or eyes open and one should have them closed.
Go to file and save as.

Open file in Animation shop and you should have 2 frames.
If all u did was the winking, then go up to edit and down to select all.
Then, go up to animation and down to frame properties and change the number to 80.
If you did blinking, then click on your image and go to Animation and down to frame properties and change that number to 90.
