Picture Tubes:
tube - an image that is in psp or tube format that can be loaded into your tubes section of psp.
It will be on transparent background so that it can be painted on any image.

To use a tube from your tube folder in the my documents section of the computer:
1.  Open the tube in psp.  check the file size in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.  You may need to resize the tube before you copy it so that it fits into your canvas. Normally around 400x400 for siggys and 500x500 for banners.
2.  Go to adjust at the top of the screen and down to sharpen the image once.
This puts the image back to the clarity that it had before being resized.
3.  Go to edit and down to copy
4.  Open a new canvas choosing the size you want.
5.  Go once again to edit and down to paste. (you have several options here...you can paste as a new image or paste as a new layer or paste as a selection or ...paste into a selection) the option you should choose is paste as a new layer.
6.  Close your original tube out.  when asked if you want to save the changes...no.

to load a tube into your tube tool:
1. open the tube in psp
2.  go to file and down to export and across to picture tube.
3.  when your export box opens in most cases you will simply need to rename your tube and click ok.

starting on the cell arrangement:
this is for the tube sheets.
In order for psp to choose only 1 image, each image needs to be loaded into what is called "cells" just like a crossword puzzle.
When using a single tube the number should all be 1.
On the other side is placement options.  Use defaults here, random and step 200 and selection random.  You will then be down to naming your tube.  Once you have it named, click ok and your tube wil be loaded into the tube tool and will be availabel to use on any images.
