This is going to be a "shortened" version of our class on adding noise..:)
1. open the image you're wanting to add noise to.
2. select your magic wand tool and make sure the settings at the top of psp have the tolerance at 20, feather 0.
3. Holding your shift key down...click areas on your image that you want to add the noise to.
(holding the shift key down will allow you to cover more at a time)
4. Duplicate your image by going up to layers and down to duplicate and do this twice for a total of 3 layers of your image.
5. X out the bottom two images and highlight the top one in your layers palette.
6. go up to Adjust and down to add/remove noise
have uniform and monochrome ticked and type in the number 30 then click ok.
7. X out the first layer and move down to the middle one and highlight it. (removing the x of course..:)
8. back up to adjust and down to add/remove noise and this time, change the number 30 to 40 and click ok.
9. X out the middle layer and remove the x from the bottom layer and do the same steps above but, change the number to 50 and click ok.
10. Go up to selections and down to select none to remove all the marching ants from your image.
11. remove all x's from your layers and highlight the top one.
12. Go up to file and down to save as and save as an Animation shop psp file
13. Open Animation shop and find your saved file.
14. Save as a gif file and you're done!
