Adding Noise in PSP 1. Create your tag in PSP, adding drop shadows, inner bevels, borders or whatever you want to do to the tag. 2. Merge all layers visable if you havent already done so when adding borders so that you now only have one layer in the layer palette. 3. Click on your magic wand over on the left hand side (should be with the 5th grouping of tools down ) and make the settings across the top of your psp as follows: mode - add/shift match mode - RGB value Tolerance - 20 Contiguous is ticked feather - 0 anti alias is ticked... Inside 4. Hold down the shift key and click with the magic wand around areas on your image that you want the noise. (you will have marching ants when doing this...leave them be!) 5. Go up to layers and down to duplicate----twice for a total of 3 layers in your layer palette. 6. X out the 2 bottom layers and highlight the top layer. 7. Go up to adjust and down to add/remove noise and over to noise. A box will open and use these settings: uniform and monochrome are ticked noise - 30% click ok. 8. X out top layer and remove the X from middle layers. Highlight it. 9. Same steps as #7 but change noise % to 40. 10. X out middle layer and remove X from bottom layer and highlight it. 11. Same steps as above but change noise % to 50. 12. Remove all X's and go up to selections and down to select none to remove the marching ants. 13. With the top layer highlighted, go up to file and down to save as and save as animation shop psp file. 14. Open Animation Shop and find your saved file. 15. View your animation and save as a gif file. you're all done! |
