Twisty Tag

1. Open a new canvas large enough for your name in PSP.
2.  Type your name using any color and any effect except for drop shadow because drop shadow doesnt transfer well into Animation Shop unless you have a background.
3.  Open any tube that you like.  Tubes that are wider then they are tall work best for the twisty tags.
4.  Copy and paste your tube to your canvas using the paste as a new layer option.
5.  You should now have 2 layers in your layers palette, one with your name (bottom layer) and one with your image (top layer)
6.  Highlight your name layer and click on the move tool and move your tube so that your name sticks out a little bit on the left side.  Remember, if you need to move your name, you need to highlight the name layer in order to move it...:)
The reason you want your name to stick out is because when you take your image into Animation Shop, your name will be the first frame and the image will be the next frame.
7.  Save your image as a psp file.
8.  Open your image in Animation shop and you will see one frame with your name and another frame with your image....hopefully..lol
9.  Go to EFFECT and INSERT IMAGE TRANSITION
10.  When the box opens on the lower half you will see effect with a drop down box...select TWIST and then click ok.
11.Change the display time of the first and last frames so that your name will stay on the screen a little while longer.  To do this...move your slider bar under your animation until the frame that you want to change is displayed and click inside of that frame.
12.  Your frame should have a blue outline around it now.  Go to Animation and down to frame properties and change that number to 50.
Do this for both the first AND the last frame.
13.  Go to file and save as and save your animation as a gif file.

You're all done!
