Text on a Curve

1.  Open a new canvas..transparent background (around 600x600 to give u plenty of room)
2. Click on your text tool to make sure both color boxes are showing and turn off the bottom one.
3.  Go to your pen tool.
4.  Across the top, choose create as vector and draw freehand for your segment type.
5.  Draw a curvy line on your canvas.  Dont make any crazy curves or sharp angles.
6.  Select the text tool and set your colors the way you want them.
7.  Point your cursor on your curved line until you see an "A" with a smile under it.  Click and start typing your text.  Your text should follow the line that you created.
8. Go up to objects and down to "convert text to curves".  Use the option of single shape to make the text stay in the shape you have.
9.  Go to layer palette and click the little plus sign next to vector and you'll see 2 layers...one with your text and the other with the line you created.
10.  Highlight the one with the line and right click on it and choose "clear" in the drop down selection.
11.  Highlight the layer that says vector and go up to layers at the top of the screen and down to convert to a raster layer.
12.  Either save it now or...add it to a tube...:)
you're all done!
