Using Glitter Patches and Floaties

1.  Open your patch or floatie in Animation shop and it will tell you how many frames it has in the bottom right hand corner.
2.  Go to edit at the top of the screen and down to select all.
3.  Look along your tool bar at the top and click on copy.
4.  Go to your psp program and right click somewhere in the middle of your screen and choose paste as a new image.
5.  Go to your layers palette and you will see the layers in your glitter patch or floatie.  Highlight the top layer and click on the eye on the other layers to turn off the visibility.
6.  Minimize your image.
7.  Open a new image and make it large enough for your name.
8.  Click on the font tool and choose a fat font. EX. franklin gothic heavy..size 12.
9. On the color boxes on the right of the screen, turn the bottom box off by clicking on the circle with the line thru it under the color box.
10.  Now, type your name and it should show up.
11.  Duplicate your layer however many frames you have in your patch.
Ex...if you have 3 layers, duplicate it twice.
12. Highlight the top layer and click the eye on the other layers.
13. On your tool bar, find the flood fill tool.
14. Go to the top color box on the right side and click on it.  When the selections box opens, choose pattern and at the top of your patterns you should see the 1st frame of the glitter patch or floatie.  Click on that.
15. Click inside each letter to fill the pattern.

16.  On your layer palette, click the eye on the top layer to turn off the visibility and highlight the next layer.  Click the eye to turn on the visibility on this layer.
17.  Continue doing the above for each layer, filling your name each time with the pattern fill next to the one you used before
18.  When all the glitter fill layers or floatie layers have been used, turn on the visibility for all layers and go to file and down to save as and save as a psp image file.
19.  Open your file in Animation Shop and you should have all your layers.  Click and view your animation and save the file from there.
