A Heart Lifted in Prayer
Tender and true
sincere and wise,
is a heartlifted in prayer,
God knowing our hearts,
can see everything,
the answer will come soon,
when we truely believe.
A heart lifted in prayer,
can be sometimes a difficult thing,
and God knowing our hearts can see
how hard it is to share our hurts and pain.
Hannah , oh how she longed for a babe to hold,
God granted her wish, and gave joy to her heart.
Sometimes it is hard to surrender everything,
yet in God's hands it is safe and our destiny He holds.
As we lay each request at the foot of the cross,
we can find full reasurance in knowing,
all is not lost.
A heart lifted in prayer,
surrendered all to our Lord,
we are safe under His wings
no matter where we are.
A heart lifted in prayer,
tender and true,
when all else is lost,
only God knows what to do.
So do not dispair, put your faith
in the One, who has all of the answers,
and in time they will come.
Lift up your heart today,
and surrender it all,
and thank God for all things,
and all He has done.
For in God's time,
we can know this for sure,
your healing and the answers
you are looking for,
will come as we lift our hearts
each day to our Wonderful Savior,
the one who gave His life for us all.
