It's Eastertime and all around nature starts to wake,
but Eastertime has memories of when my heart did break,
Just as the flowers you loved so much were starting out to grow,
Your heart was stopped, your breath stilled, God decided you had to go,
Through the year I remember often but when this time does come,
I shed a tear for the time I lost my own very special mum.
