This is a poem written by my great Aunt... hope you enjoy... if you would like to copy this you may...

So many years have vanished, since first we volunteered and joined the mighty army of the Lord.
Our blood ran hot within our breast, as valiantly we fought, to win lost souls and gain our sure reward.
And others strove beside us, and stood the heat of day, but now the ranks are thinning from those fallen by the way.
Some were honorable casualties mans science could not cure but some were rank ddeserters brainwashed by sins allure.
And now a call comes ringing for volunteers again, war clouds od darkness hoverinspired by sinful men.
With lustful greed for power to win the world their goal. which wish fulfilled in power could kill both body and soul.
Oh youth, with unused vigor and you of middle age, come now with reinforcments strong does the battle rage, the  veterans are weakened broken beneath the strain of weary years of battle yet faithful they remain.
Seeking with flagging spirits bravely to do their share, cheering the stronger comrades by weilding the sword of prayer, our weapons are not carnal for hath  His Word not said, "The Lord of host shall arm the right" so let us forge ahead.
Keep in our mind the promise the scriptures doth proclaim, where He said " if my people wich are called by mu name, repent of all their evil, turn back at my command, then will I hear from heaven and I will heal their land"
So let courage rise with danger, maarch to the sounds of drums have faith, trust and believe HIM, occupy till HE comes.
For greater is HE that is for us than he against could be. If we stand in this hope undaunted DELIVERANCE WE SHALL SEE!

Such a treasured piece, being written from the heart of a loved one. Take care of that inheritance, God has blessed you with.  kam
