Pain
Lord, I know you have been there,
walking alone, in pain.
Reaching out to brothers and sisters,
and no one seemed to care.
Even Your Father had to look away
As You bore our sin.
But it was only for a moment
Then You were raised up again.
I feel so helpless and hurt,
The pain runs so deep.
Please cradle me in Your arms
Let me lay down in peace and sleep.
And when tomorrow gets here,
Let me not forget, how my heavenly Father,
My broken heart did keep.
