My Dear Friends, I have had the repairman out again to fix my furnance. Last night it went out and after trouble shooting again, they decided it is the main heat exchanger. They called around and found one about 200 miles away. I drove there this afternoon and picked up the parts however they can't install them until Monday, because it will take a minimum of 12 hours to replace the parts and I didn't get back until tonight. Tonight it is -25 with windchill of -50. I can't believe the cost for labor these days, and it is going to cost a grand just to get this part installed or more. I pray that God shows some devine mercy here and let the cost be reasonable and the heat not a worry. I pray and ask these things in Jesus name. Amen |

Friend, My prayers are with you concerning this matter. May God intervene and help you to get the repairs made to your furnace at a cost that you can afford. God bless you, Bill (f) |

Just a note of thanks to all of you and most of all to our Lord. After a bitter long nite with the house getting down to below 19 degrees upstairs, and below 0 downstairs-- my pipes froze in the kitchen and bathroom, the furnace gave up on me around 3 in the morning. I went to a hardware store as soon as they opened and purchased a few space heaters and I used them to heat the pipes. I called the furnance repair co again--the service man on call didn't want to come fix my furnace, he gave every excuse you could imagaine. I told him I was freezing. He called another repairman to come do the work. I thank God for this blessing. The orginial repairman would have taken 12 hours to fix the furnance, and the guy that came only took 2 1/2 hours. It was in fact the heat exchangers primary and secondary that was bad. I praise God for his love and allowing us to have heat again. My fireplace just couldn't handle the extreme cold to heat the house. It kept one room around 29 degrees. It took 9 hours to get my pipes open, and I praise God none ruptured, My house is still warming but at least the temperture is almost 50 which feels like a heat wave after last night. Outside tonight the temperature is -29 with wind chill of -58, I couldn't handle another nite of no sleep and no heat. Now my prayer is that the repair company doesn't charge me a fortune for coming after hours on the weekend. I have to just trust God in His awsome justice and mercy. Thank you Lord for hearing my cry. Thank you Lord for answering prayer. |
