Oh dear I am so distractable !

I am not on the computer at all most week ends & when I saw your post yesterday morning I started to reply then lost it while looking for something .  Maybe it's just part of the whole parcel of goodies that goes with these conditions !   My sincere apologies for this lapse in ettiquette and manners. 

 

I learned Monday night that a dear girlfriends husband had been molesting her daughter and --assaulting her son a number of times.  They've been separated for about a year or more.  It's a long story - I won't go into all the details, but this absolutely precious 12 year old will today be meeting alone with soc.serv & police in a private video taped disclosure session.

 

Nancy, if you're getting around by bus etc. I really hope you've got good weather ! I do hope that by now you'll be able to find another vehicle that fits you're budget.  It is so uncomfortable needing to get rides from other people, it just seems to bring up all sorts of things, doesn't it?

 

I think I had a bunch of assorted ways of treating sinus infections & maybe discouraging them.  I've had a few & sure would not wish that on anyone ! I think I'll post it under "Coping with Pain"    At least a full nights sleep will help your body better cope with it.  I really do hope you're feel better now & have been able to get a couple more good nights sleep.

 

That job doesn't sound like the best one for you.  Maybe this is "the Universe's" way of moving you on to something better for you !  We can hope.

 

Here now we've had over a week of rain. As of yesterday morning we've had more than twice our Monthly average !

A lot of basements are flooding as it rained steadily all day yesterday too. Further south there is quite a lot of flooding & a few roads are washed out. High elevations have had up to 3 ft of snow !  Temp stayed around 6-9 C (low 40's F) the last couple of days.   Well, it's been very dry here for several years so this will atleast give everything a good soaking!

 

I do hope things are coming together for you better !

thanx, but no need to apologize. hey sometimes i don't get back to the pc for days when i'm working. but the swelling has gone down a lot. im still taking the septra and its helping. hopefully it will all be gone by monday.

 

in the meantime, the job asked me back to join another class where i left off. they want a drs note about my IBS problems and such. but i'm gonna wait until i find out if their extra dry A/C is what caused my sinuses to go crazy. if that is the case i will quit or fail the final on purpose so they have to fire me (unemployment likes it better if they fire you, than you quit). not that EDD pays me anything but $77 a week. but anything beats a blank till i can get something better. i will not stay somewhere were my health is in danger from something as silly as thier a/c system. also they tend to monitor your bathroom habits. if you use more than 15mins during a two week pay period on bathroom habits and the like you will not get your $.50 per hour incentive for the next two weeks. also absenses count against it too, unless you have built up unpaid time off. even then its frowned on and you don't get yearly raises. i knew the company was like this. but i took the job b/c i was desperate. but i'm still looking for other things and chanting alot.

 

i signed up for that reiki group but nobody has ever authorized me and it won't let me read anything. so if you could check on it. it would be nice.

 

i have several prospects for finding a car and suddenly several ppl are interested in my car. 3 ppl have contacted me already and have no trouble so far w/what they have to do to the car and the price i'm asking. the ppl that contacted me are all from my complex. so that will save having to move it around. i'm also selling at tow bar. lloyd wanted to keep the darn thing. silly man. he doesnt own a car and it would sit in his closet waiting for use till he dies. so i got it from him (boy was he mad, he is a pack rat and hates giving up man toys even if they are broken or cannot be used).

 

as for lloyd. he hasnt spoke to me or taken my calls at all since last week. we have a court date to meet for the divorce the day before my birthday july 20th (so i guess that means he won't be taking me out for my b-day now huh? lol). i hope he shows up. it would be a pain for him not to be there. i sent him a registered letter about the court date. they asked me to ask him to work it out w/o all this. but he wont. so we will see what happens. i have dreamed about him 3 nights in a row. what is funny is we are fighting in most of them. weird.

 

i was feeling so bad last saturday when the swelling started that i forgot to have my ride take me to the bank and ended up bouncing the rent check. it cost me $30 at the bank. $25 dollars for my landlords bank and a $50 late charge. i paid all but $171. of it today. can't pay w/anything but a money order for the next year. but its ok. at least i still got the place and i like my manager. my credit union only charges $2 for m.o. (which isn't bad considering most will charge you $6) and my manager says i have to buy them for another year. the machine wasn't working and i had to wait for the m.o. so they gave it to me free. (my lucky day!).

 

lol, this is my day. somebody wanted my towbar and is willing to pay $100 for it. im selling it as we speak. 3 ppl have shown interest in the car and hopefully it will be out of my hair for $200 by the weekend. w/another hundred from my paycheck i will be able to buy a car this weekend from the cheapie car dealership free can clear. yippee.
