these ppl are frauds and will take your money and never refund it. i signed up for thru my bonus mail. when you join you get so many points
for joining different things. well, due to circumstances beyond my control i was 1 day late deleting my acct w/them. i was told that i
would not be billed for anything and no charges would be put thru my acct.

next thing i know they took two whole months worth of service out of my bank acct. im reporting my card stolen and getting a new one w/a new
acct number. i suggest staying as far away from STAMPS.COM as possible.
definitely do not give them your credit card even for the free trial. they will bill it.

Yikes !  good grief,  what a pain !
Thank you for the notice on this one !
I sure hope you get your refund for this one !
You know, I think I saw something the other day about a site & ppl who are working to reduce the number of sites like this.  I shall scout around a little & see if I can find out more !

Having once been scammed (tho very luckily it was for a rather small sum) but now 3 years later it is still an irriatation, because only half of an order was shipped .......... ahhh well that vendor is long gone (at least in that "costume").....
And Rene returns with:

The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

IFCC's mission is to address fraud committed over the Internet. For victims of Internet fraud, IFCC provides a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of a suspected criminal or civil violation. For law enforcement and regulatory agencies at all levels, IFCC offers a central repository for complaints related to Internet fraud, works to quantify fraud patterns, and provides timely statistical data of current fraud trends.

thanx gf. i wont be able to get to the bank till tomorrow. the company refuses to refund the money and says they stand by their policies. so i will do the complaint issues. at the most, i will end up losing $32 and get a new card. but at least i have stopped one person from ending up the same way i did. (one of my online friends was thinking about using them, now she wont). so the lesson i learned served a purpose to help somebody else.

i have saved all the links you put in the email and will go about dealing w/them tomorrow or later tonight if i can get online.

hugs and thanx,

I appreciate the warning about this.  I've seen another site or two with this sort of approach & wondered why they wanted my card info right up front.  Seems they're awfully anxious to make a few dollars what ever way they can.

Good luck with your complaints.
Hope all is going well for you all around otherwise !
Blessings
Rene M
