sandwiches to the Greater Connecticut MS Walk.
(New Haven, Conn.) April 19, 2006 �?Local SUBWAYÒ Restaurants, known for their healthy menu
options, are supporting the annual National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Connecticut
Chapter MS Walk on Sunday, April 23 and 30 by donating 9,500 sandwiches to the event.
The Greater Connecticut Chapter MS Walk will bring together an expected 9,000 area residents to
participate in a non-competitive walk aimed at sparking awareness and bringing communities
together in the fight against multiple sclerosis. The walk is expected to generate more than
$1,160,000 to ensure ongoing scientific research, programs and services offered by the chapter.
There are more than 6,000 Connecticut residents diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a potentially
debilitating autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system with no known cure.
