Q
In some of the threads I see that some of you will post to check here for something.

The HERE is highlighted and all you have to do is click on it to get to another page.  How do you do that?

Also I have seen some "click heres" (with a pic) that do the same

to get the HERE thing you do this:-

type HERE
highlight it with your mouse
click on the blue circle thingy with what looks like a figure 8 on its side
type in the URL of where you want it to link to
press Insert

I am not sure about the linked pics though, probably the same method

Thanks to MHM for this tip

I was reading through the posts on this thread {MHM4ever} and saw that some of you make your backgrounds in PSP.  Does anyone know of a tut somewhere that will teach me how to make them using PSP?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to do screenshots

On your Keyboard you will see on the right side, before the number pad, at the top of the letter keys, a key that says 'print scr' and then a line and under the line it reads sys rq.
When you are on the screen you want to take a screen shot of push that key.
You will not see anything happen because your computer just took a pic of your screen.
Now open a graphics program - you can use Microsoft paint if you have nothing else - and then click on edit and paste or just hit your ctrl and V keys at the same time.
Now save it as a jpeg to your computer.
Now you have your screen shot saved to your computer.

Fortunately, deleting your past searches is easily done. To understand, let's first cover how to access the past searches or search history list, using Google as an example.

Assuming you've got Internet Explorer's AutoComplete on and have searched at Google before, you should be able to click once in the Google search box and get a "drop down" box to appear, listing all the things you've searched for in the past at Google. (Alternatively, you can start typing a query, and you'll be shown any queries that contain the first letters that you've typed.)

Now let's say in the drop down list of past searches is a particular query that you want to remove. Use the arrow keys on your computer keyboard to highlight the particular entry. Alternatively, highlight the entry using your mouse but don't click on it! Next, once the entry has been highlighted, push the "Delete" button on your computer keyword. The entry should disappear.

There's also a method to remove all your past searches, in one go. Of course, if you do this, you'll also delete any other form-based information that Internet Explorer may have saved.

To do this, in Internet Explorer 5 or higher, select "Tools" from the menu, then "Internet Options" and then choose the "Content" tab. Next, look for the button at the bottom that says "AutoComplete." Click on the button which will make the AutoComplete Settings window appear. In it, click on the "Clear Forms" button to delete all your stored form entries.

By the way, I personally find AutoComplete very handy for dealing with all the forms I encounter on the web. If you aren't using it and want it, follow the steps above to get the AutoComplete Settings window. Then, checked the boxes under "Use AutoComplete For" to start having information saved.

Finally, if you are a Google Toolbar user, the techniques above won't work to remove your past searches from the toolbar. Instead, you'll need to click on the Google logo next to the Google Toolbar's search box, then choose "Clear Search History" from the drop-down box that appears

How come when i save snags to my computer.....

they arent moving emotions?

every time i save them, then upload them they arent animated anymore.

try cleaning out your cookies and temp files sometimes this prevents you from loading graphics properly. To do this go to tools at the top then go to internet options and delted them there.

Step by step for those new to using the computer: Emptying your Temporary Internet files...

Click on "Tools" at the very top of your screen.

Then select "Internet Options" from drop down menu.

Then where is says "Temporary Internet Files", click on "Delete Files"...then also click  "Delete All Offline Content" when the small box pops up. Click "OK".

Finally click "OK" at the bottom when all done.

I had this problem and had to change my Internet settings to allow animations.

Here is how:

Tools
Internet Options
Advanced
Scroll down to Multimedia
Check Play animations in web pages

I haven't had a problem since and all the ones I had saved in the past started working also.

weird problem
Everytime I post a message on my site or create an email with hotmail or even create a table on my site I get this large space above and below what ever I'm doing and it wont shift! I can't delete it at all. It only started to happen a few days ago and I cant think of anything that can have caused this.     It's like an invisible something is there! Very strange, has anyone else ever encountered this?  T

I cant remember what was causing that. It was either Smiley Central, or that hotbar toolbar thing. (I think hotbar is what it's called) All that pop up stuff like Smiley Central, Cursormania and things like that are just loaded with spyware. At least when I downloaded them, they added all kinds of things on my computer, AND I had that same problem.    J

It's caused by Hotbar... If you remove it from your computer, your problem will be corrected.  CT

??? About adding Fonts psp 7

If i have saved fonts in folder on desktop. when i open psp, how do i open it to use. thanks

Make sure your fonts are all unzipped,
Open up Psp, open your font folder
Choose which font you want to use
minimise it to the bottom task bar,
Open a new image or whatever in psp
choose your text tool and your font should show
in the text drop down menu,
Just choose it and type away.
Hope this helps you.
Hugs Silk xxxx

I highly recommend getting a free font viewer. This will keep you form having to open up fonts individually to see what they look like. The following is what I post in my groups about saving fonts and using them with PSP. I actually have a web page for this with all the following information I am gonna post on the copy/paste pages board.

Help With All Those Fonts

With so many fonts out there, its no wonder we go download crazy and get 100s of fonts so quickly. Watch out though..if your loading your fonts incorrectly you could be in for a major computer crash.

By following the tips below you will keep your computer and your programs running at a faster speed, and who doesnt love that?

First of all NEVER put your downloaded/purchased fonts into your C Windows System Font folder..NEVER! Why? Everytime your computer boots up, it loads everything in those system folders--including your 500 fonts! So your computer will take longer to boot up. EVERY program that you have on your computer that uses fonts will have to load those fonts...your PSP, MS Word, Outlook, Excel...even your MSN groups will load those fonts installed on your computer.

Not to mention the font pressure your putting on your programs and computer, you are at HIGH risk for having your programs and possibly your whole computer crashing down on you!

Create yourself a font folder outside your Systems folder....maybe you want it in your MyDocuments or even on your desktop...where ever you choose create a new folder called My Fonts. Put EVERY single font that you download or purchase into that folder. The only fonts that need to be in your Windows Font folder are those fonts supplied with Windows.

Myself, I hate having to open each font individually to see what it looks like. You could spend literally hours looking for the one font you want..but heres a great way to get around that.  Get yourself a Free Font Viewer. My favorite is Font Explorer Lite, although there are many to choose from out there. Using a font viewer will allow you to preview ALL of your fonts without having to open and close them on a one by one basis...thus allowing you to use your text much quicker. All you needto do is download you a program, point it to the font folder you created and then keep the font viewer open anytime you open PSP...all of your fonts will be right at your finger tips.
