MY FAVORITE PLACE TO PRAY

 

 

My garden is a peaceful place

Where I can go to slow my pace.

There while digging in the sod

I seek direction from my God.

 

No problem is too big or small;

He listens to them all, one and all.

I always know I'll find him there

To comfort me and hear my prayer.

 

I often run a little late,

But lovingly He always waits

To share my joy and hear my cares

In my lovely place of prayer.

 

We talk a lot, my God and I;

He lets me laugh, He lets me cry.

And when I don't know where to start,

It's then He listens to my heart.
