Rich Fudge Pecan Pie


Ingredients

1-6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
2/3 cup evaporated milk  *( not sweetened condensed!)
2 Tbl. butter, cut up
2 lg. eggs
1 cup lt. brown sugar (packed)
2 Tbl. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1-9" deepdish pie shell, unbaked
 

Procedure

In lg. bowl, whisk eggs. Stir in brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and pecans. Set aside.
 
In med.-sized heavy bottomed saucepan, combine both chips, evap. milk, and butter.Melt over low heat, stirring, til smooth and creamy.Slowly stir into egg mixture. Stir well, pour into pie shell and bake at 375* for 40 minutes or til set. Top will be shiny like a brownie! Cool, serve. (Good warm with butter pecan ice cream!)
