Pity Party

I had a pity party the other day,

and no one was there but me.

I worried and fussed and wondered why

all these things could happen to me?

Then came the the tears, the guilt and despair,

oh why, yes why is it me?

These things may be small,

but some seemed so big.

My mind, what a turmoil,

yes, this was me.

Then all at once a small voice did speak,

get up, stop you're crying

and get down on you're knees.

You are healthy, not dying,

you are full and not starving.

So rejoice and be glad,

don't worry or fret,

Look up to the Heavens and thank God above

for a bountiful harvest

reaping much and more to come.

So no more pity and sorrow,

only gladness and joy,

for our God does supply us

with all that we need.

So be grateful and thankful

reach out and you'll see,

the bright star that is shining

for you and me.

Beautiful poem, unfortunately it is copyright, right?

Sites have been known to be shuttered by msn for using copyright thingys' without written permission from the author.

I think all you have to do is give recognition to the author which I have done. I did not plagairize it by calling it my own. Thanks, though. Steve

I believe that in "some cases"...written permissions to "advertise" an authors' work MUST also be provided!

Most Authors do not appreciate their work being bantered about the Internet........They installed them within the borders of book covers, provided "For Sale" in bookstore?

That was my point......

I did not see a copyright where it was posted. I shall remove it if it is going to cause problems, but I think overreaction may be occuring here.

He did post the author..... I see no problem.........But,what do I know?
