peanut butter cookies

Ingredients

 Ingredients:

1/4 cup pnut butter

1 stick of margarine

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown cugar

1 1/4 cup flour

1 egg

 

 

Procedure

 You have to melt the margarine and peanut butter,(this can be done on the stove top or in the microwave) While this is still warm add bothsugars and mix well.

 Let the sugar butter and peanut butter mixture cool.  Beat one egg and add it to the mixture, mix well(the mixture should be cooled enough that it does not cook the egg)

add the flour and you are ready to bake.

        Bake at 350 for approx 10 mins

 

notes:

 Parkay margarine seems to make the best cookies, it doesn't have as much water when it is melted.

 The cookies are done as soon as the outer edges start to turn light brown.
