| Good Morning~ It's already a steamy 79* here...ughhh!!! Our high today will be near 93* which means our heat index close to 100*. Looks like a good day to work on laundry and mop the floors.Maybe I'll go out after dark~ I've been having to water my plants in the morning and again in the afternoon. The dogs have to be brought in by noon or so,let out again around 4,back in to eat dinner and back out until bedtime....this is insane!!! How am I suppose to get a job this way?????? And then there's my precious redhead that I have to drown in sunblock just to walk up to check the mail or meet the schoolbus. I hear Seattle's nice this time of year~ Hope you all have a great day and are alot cooler than we are down here in Sauna,Georgia. Hugs,GE |

| Howdy all from the Sauna~ I've plugged the kids into Transformers and I'm trying to get caught up with my emails and laundry. The A/C is CRANKED!!!!! Didn't sleep well last night,some idiot turned the thermostat up to 85 before coming to bed  , he's lucky I didn't choke him at 3 a.m. in the middle of a hot flash~so......may try to take a nap with the kids later. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! She is too cute. Thank God he was able to adopt this little angel puppy but will the military let him bring her home? It doesn't take long to get attached to such a cutie......I know having got very attached to a puppy that was abused here in Kentucky. |

| Morning all~ Yes Katie,he's trying to bring her home but it's going to cost $3000., so we've contacted Best Friends out of Utah that's doing Iraq rescues to see if they can help. Hunter's graduation was awesome yesterday! I only cried a lil' bit.....lol~ all the kids looked so grown up and they did a fabulous job during the ceremony.The shocker was doing the math for the Class of 2021....omg,I'll be THAT OLD???? LOL~ I'll get the film turned in on Sunday and post a picture on here Monday morning. My best friend and I finally booked my ticket last night on Priceline,what a life-saver with tickets going up as fast as gas prices. I'll be gone July 17th -21st.And as I sit in the backyard overlooking the beautiful Tucson desert,I promise to think of you all~This is going to be a great break for me and I intend to enjoy every second. I haven't been home in 19 yrs and can't wait to finally get my allergies cleared up,even if only for a few days. Have a great day everyone! Hugs,GE |

| Good morning everyone~ My sister is sitting on a plane right now biting her nails waiting to crash....LOL~ what a chicken!!! Her new boyfriend surprised her with a weekend in Amsterdam for her 41st birthday.When he sent the flight info,she almost fell out of her chair when she saw 'Friday the 13th' .....and being the big sister that I am,I've had a blast tormenting her about it  Well,today is the last day of school and I should be in a straight jacket by this time next week~ Hope you all have a fabulous weekend~ Hugs,GE | |

| Good Morning~ Just wanted to share Hunter's Grad pic with you. He's now officially a big 1st Grader!!!! School starts Sept. 2nd,so it will be so nice to have both kids in school and no more worries of how to pay for fulltime daycare~ Now if I can just hang onto my sanity until then!!! Our weather has been very hot & humid,so we're not doing much.Our high today 91*,which means the heat index will be close to 100*.We did take the kids to the pool on Saturday and they had a blast. Morning~ 80* with humidity at 83%....just a little muggy!!! I think I'm going through a stage  ....I rode the bike down to the mailbox yesterday.Idiot mailman stuck a huge phonebook in there and while trying to hold onto all of that mail,I wrecked the bike!!!  Skinned up my ankle and have a nice 'sprocket print' on the back of my leg,but think I'll live. It's just not safe for me to leave the house! LOL~ Have a great day~GE |

| Well, another hot and steamy day in Savannah. It's 75* right now with 86% humidity .Too hot to go anywhere and the kids have cabin-fever~ I hope there's a movie on HBO!!! | Good Morning~ I've been very busy lately on top of fighting these annoying allergies~ I hope to be able to clear-up during my trip to Tucson. I recieved an email late last night from my old counselor when I was a crazy teenager.He was the Post Chaplain and now has his own church.We are hoping to get together while I'm home and I sure hope my Dad will be with us in Spirit~they both worked very hard to keep me alive 30 yrs. ago.Amazing what God has planned for us,isn't it? | Morning~ I'll be spending my day cleaning kids rooms,catching up on laundry and trying to get the house put back together after my long week of doing nothing but mope around. Hubby had a bad crash on his bike last Sunday night.He's healing pretty good but it'll be a few weeks before his knee is up for any pedaling...lol. | Good morning~ I've spent the last week catching up on my rest,kids,house,dogs,etc.....why did I go on vacation again???? LOL~ Anyway,our weather has turned ugly.Heat index's over 100* and afternoon storms bringing mostly bad lightening,so we're pretty much spending alot of time indoors watching movies. We got a new puppy 2 days ago to fill the void that Nicky left in our house. His name is Rusty and he's been alot of fun.He's Chihuahua/Dachsund mix @ 4 or 5mths old. A lady near my hubby's work found him and unable to find his owners,placed him on Craigslist.He's made himself right at home,even the big dogs are playing with him. | Good Sunday Morning~ We've had a busy week here with being blessed with a new house and making plans for our move.We're very excited to be getting out of this bad area and into a nicer home~praise God! Also keeping an eye on Fay. The storm track has changed and now looks like Savannah will get the bad side of her.At least she's moved away from my Grandmother's in Panama City. I do have an Aunt south of Tampa that lives on the beach, but they'll be evacuating to my cousin's house in Orlando tomorrow afternoon.Father in-law in Ft. Lauderdale is busy today boarding up windows. He's a die-hard and always rides out these storms~ Not sure when we'll unplug the computor. It has to happen if I'm to get any packing done....lol, but I'll be back online as soon as we arrange for new service. Hugs to all, GE |
