Gisele Mortenson//no.longer.overprotected

Long time no see __% Gisele wakes up the following morning, her head pounding from the side effects of a major hang-over. She groans a little as she looks over at her bedside clock. It's twelve p.m. Why is it, that whenver I am with Tara, I get drunk? Like, there is no way around it.... Gisele sits up, and leans against her head board as she lets out a deep breath.  She suddenly remembers that if she is to make it back to the arena in time to do a bit of warming up before her match tomorrow that she has to catch a plane by six p.m. She all of a sudden feels more energized as she slides out of bed, and quickly rinses off in the shower before putting some clean clothes on. After she is fully dressed, she sits back down on the edge of her bed as she re-collects her thoughts. She looks over at her phone, and realizes that she never called her dad from that one night almost two weeks ago now.  And since she is in California, she might as well give him a call. Wait. Shit. What was the number? She grabs her phone and listens through her voicemails once more before finding her dad's. She then scribbles down the number on a spare piece of paper. 323-479-0873. Okay, got it. Gisele then shuts off the voicemail and quickly dials the number. She listens for his voice. One ring. Two rings. Three Rings, and then.....  XxXxGisele's Dad:: Hello? XxXxGisele Mortenson:: Hi, daddy? This is Gisele. XxXxGisele's Dad:: Oh, hi hunny! How are you? I was starting to think that you weren't ever gonna call me back! XxXxGisele Mortenson:: I'm fine. I'm sorry that I never called you back sooner, I've been really busy with DXCW. XxXxGisele's Dad:: Oh, is that the federation that you got accepted in? I'm so proud of you! I wish I could take you out to lunch or something sometime, but you're probably too busy to come back to your hometown huh? XxXxGisele Mortenson:: Well, actually...I'm in California right now. I came up to visit Tara and her family for a little bit. You remember the Bledel's right? But yeah, if you want, I can come over and we could sit and talk for a bit. XxXxGisele's Dad:: Oh, that would be great Gisele!  But, how about I meat you at Panera? I mean, the apartment is a bit of a mess right now, and... XxXxGisele Mortenson:: Wait, woah woah woah. Apartment? Daddy what do you mean? You and mom live in a fucking mansion. XxXxGisele's Dad:: Gisele! Watch your language! XxXxGisele Mortenson:: Sorry, but seriously...explain the apartment! XxXxGisele's Dad:: Well, you see....I will explain it all at Panera's. Can you be there in thirty minutes? XxXxGisele Mortenson:: Of course. I'll leave right now. XxXxGisele's Dad:: Okay sweetie, see you then. __% Gisele hangs up the phone, TBC: by me only!
