__;; Okay, so I guess there's no use trying to beat around the bush any further, because it's quite obvious that Chris isn't going to let Adalyn walk away without specifically answering his question. But really, why did she come to him? Why not the "golden boy" of the moment, Chris McKenzie or the infamous Trish Stratus? Anybody else new to the business would of gladly jumped in one of their arms, so what did make Mr. Michaels so damn special? It's not like she could get something on the side from him, so that option was out. And as far as having a super nice personality, he wasn't that high on the todem pole. So what in the hell did Adalyn see in this man? Adalyn stares across the room at Chris, who at this very moment resembles somewhat of a three-year-old sitting on the edge of his bed, eagerly waiting for the dramatic ending of his bed time story. Adalyn smiles at this, happy that she obviously has his full attention, but then frowns again when she remember why she has his attention. She hadn't really put much thought into having to deal with questions like these, so hopefully her answer wouldn't show that she was thrown somewhat completly off guard. Adalyn composes herself and leans forward a bit in her seat as well before finally answering Chris. Adalyn Raine;; Honestly Chris, I did a little studying up on thi place before signing my contract. And by doing so, in the process I found out a little bit about all the "top superstars and divas" here. __;; Adalyn rolls her eyes and lets out a breath before continuing Adalyn Raine;; But anyways, I'm here now, and please believe me when I say that I have no 'hidden' motives behind asking you to be my mentor. I came to you, because wouldn't it make sense to learn from the best, rather than asking someone like Chris Kinning or Angel for help? *she laughs* Please, I'd rather not waste my time, if that's okay with you. Besides Chris, your a married man, so what other intentions, other than you being my mentor could I possibly have? __;; Adalyn smirks and raises an eyebrow at Chris as he just shrugs his shoulders and smiles a coy little smile. Adalyn laughs slightly as she continues, not really needing a response from Chris for that particular question. The answer was pretty much a no brainer, and no doubt he would have some cocky reply that Adalyn didn't need to hear. Adalyn Raine;; But seriously, I assure you that just like yourself, my intentions are strictly business. *she pauses* I mean if I really wanted a man, I could of snagged Angel. __;; Adalyn smirks to herself as Chris now raises his own eyebrow. Adalyn Raine;; Kidding! As if someone like him deserves all of this... __;; She motions to herself with a smug look on her face before continuing. Adalyn Raine;; ...okay, before I get any further off subject, did I cover all your ground breaking questions? Or is there more that you would still like to know about me? I'm pretty sure we've covered all the basics, but if there is something key about me you'd like to hear, feel free to ask. __;; Chris smiles and opens his mouth to possibly ask a couple more questions, when Adalyn holds out her hand to stop him. She smiles at the confused look on his face as she speaks. Adalyn Raine;; But before you get to ask me any more questions, how about you tell me a little bit about yourself? *she smiles* I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm loving all the spot light attention that your giving me, but I'm a bit curious about you. And please, spare the "well i'm simply the greatest" details. I already know that, you made that loud and clear right off the bat....perhaps something a bit more personal, so I can get to know my new mentor a bit better. __;; Adalyn now folds her hands across her lap, and glances down for a moment to inspect her nails, while she waits patiently for Chris to speak up and spill out some information about himself.
