Hen,
I called the phone of the owner and gave him the URL for the listing that is on Craig's List.
He sounded like an older man and he thinks that someone may have picked the dog up and he is going to check on it.
I hope he has good luck.  He didn't ask me my name or anything.  I hope it is his dog and he checks his caller ID.  I told him that I posted it and that this was found.  If I happen to hear back from him, I will let you know.
Gosh a Christmas Miracle would be SO GREAT.

Hugs, Ellen

I thought about this after I hung up and called the Burlington Shelter.  I ask them to please
put it up on their Shelter Site if this is that man's dog and he got him back.  The lady said that she would have the person who does the postings for them do that for us.
Thanks Again and good detective work.  Let's hope it is his baby.

El

Those aren't the same dog - missing one was a female and the found was a male, blaze is different too.  Plus Burlington NJ is a long way from Hudson Valley NY for a dog to get lost (unless someone took it).  But I hope they both find their homes for Christmas.

Yes, two different dogs.. I guess it was wishful thinking.
The blaze is different, and they look different in age.
Hen
I too hope both go back to their homes..
