Hello Ellin My first pet was a squirrel,my dad killed the mother not knowing she had babyes and bought home the baby.
I was very small, we had him in the house sometimes and in a cage at nite.He ran free in the day,mostly stayed in the yard.We lived by woods also.
One morning I heard a lound bang,and ran outside to see my Squirrel dead in my yard and a neighbor coming into our yard to get him.
He had been huntting and my squirrel ran home and thought he was safe.
He was tame.
Then to make matteres worst my Dad gave him the Squirrel to him to eat.
The next day I went to his house and sat on his steps all day crying guess they did nor see me.
I smelled super cooking and just knew it was my baby.
I am surprized I did not go nuts then.
My grandpa gave me a small pig to be mine at his house on a farm.
he had lots of other pigs and this one was for me.
I fed him,and pet him all the time I stay whole summers at my grandpas.he was alone not with the others.
When he got big I road on him.
He was just so loving just like a dog.
Then one day I came by and he was gone and Grandpa said he took him to be killed so he could get paid ,I never got over these two deaths.
