i'm not sure i really think that people should have to take a test. i just can't believe that people vote without knowing basic things like who the running mate is.

Oh I remember when they played that clip on the morning news a couple months ago (before the election). I lmao over it....then felt really sad, knowing that revealing such a thing would make no difference to anyone, lol.
 
And I think it's less about having to take a test (which is something I've always been 'for', btw) than it is about the way campaigns are handled. I still say it shouldn't be about money, that every viable candidate (not just in the 2 parties!) should have equal 'air time' on TV and radio for free (the air waves belong to US anyway, so we should be able to make such a 'demand'...one assumes anyway, lol) to present their platforms and policies, and that empty rhetoric should be censored, lol.
