I would be very surprised if Doug received more call in and text votes than Precious. IF he won he wouldn't be able to bust out and do his own thing until way later. It worked for Kelly Clarkson. lol Seriously...if Doug wins I will fall off the couch. |

i didn't vote for doug. even though i really want him to win just so he knows we want his music. i don't want him to be contracted to ai though. i can't believe dialidol is predciting his win.  |

Oh, I am SO with Hic on that one -- I refrained from voting last night (and I really had intended on doing so) because I don't want him to be part of that AI machine, man. He's so much better than that!
But - again - I think it's the kiss of death whenever Simon makes an issue of his opinion. Saying that Archie won every round (gah, stupid stupid boxing analogies!!) and won the night with a knock out...that just tells Dougie fans to double up on voting! It's like when he seriously puts someone down - that person gets so many sympathy votes, they beat out one or two people with real talent!
Ack, the public is so dumb sometimes, lol.

Maybe that was AI's plan to act like David A. won it so people would vote for David C. - then they could rake in the profits!  I mean since when do they all 3 agree on who won and tell us who they all think won!  |

Personally *don't throw things at me!* I liked David A.'s singing better! But I still think he'll get eaten alive out there - and I get the feeling he knows it too - he looks like he is scared to win. |

Yeah, I think that's what his tears are all about, Lita. He's scared of how his dad will behave if he doesn't win this thing. Maybe not that dad will be mad at him or take it out on him, but he might throw hissy fit and embarrass the hell out of him.
Ok, maybe the tears are also just from general fear, lol. But I do think there's that whole stupid "dad" thing hanging over his head, too.
