also, and somewhat unrelated to the main topic but valid to the subtopic, don't you think it's only fair, if Eric's in the final 2, that the jury be told about him being America's Player? I mean, it does kind of suck for him to have to do what he's told by a bunch of voters. Anyway, either way if he wins and then they're told he's AP, they'll think it's unfair b/c he had a wise sage guiding his every move. If they're told beforehand, at least they could decide whether or not his gameplay was deserving of winning despite having America's invisible hand moving him into all sorts of vantage points across the chessboard. |

Yeah, I'm really stuck on that one myself, Torty. Since "we" are the ones who are literally mastering the puppet here, it really comes back on us. So then you'd have to ask yourself (if you're one of the other contestants), does Eric deserve anything for good gameplay when he clearly wasn't making his own decisions? In fact, he didn't really have any choice! (Well, he did with most of the tasks, but he wanted the money, lol - but his actual vote for eviction was assumed based on our votes, it's not like he was ever asked which way he wanted to vote) Then again, if they're not informed of it, and think he's responsible for this clever manipulation, that's giving him credit where it's not due.... Quite a problem, really. I wonder how BB producers thought this one through, lol. And I'm really puzzled why we still haven't seen the sequester house. Fox brings up a good point. I did some searching but have found nothing but the same question out there (as well as spoilers, so I don't think I'm going to keep searching, lol). |

hmmm i guess...i think they should be told, because even if he did have outside help, i would think that would make it almost harder. i mean all those mystery votes he had to escape being blamed...just because we've instructed him on things, he's still managed to pull them off. |

Yeah, he really did! I was surprised to find that he skated on through (I think Dick and Daniele - or one of 'em, lol - figured out that he was the mystery Nick vote, right? But then no one believed them, so the others still think Eric wasn't the one). It would make it hard to make a decision about him - he may have been following instructions that 'we' gave him, but he sure as hell got away with it, lol. I can't even think what I would do if I 'found out' all this America's Player stuff at the very end, just before voting, and Eric was in the final 2. I have no idea.... |

This is what I read over at Jokers: for some reason this year, Alison Grodner has decided to show the sequester house only once. Why this is, I don't know. I wanna see it too! |

An explanation for lack of jury house footage...
Although Amber is now off to the show's sequester location, Big Brother viewers shouldn't expect to see much footage of her new jury house adventures. Unlike previous Big Brother seasons, CBS doesn't plans to broadcast regular weekly footage of each evicted houseguest's jury house arrival.
"[The producers only] anticipate [broadcasting] one jury house package before the end of the season," a CBS spokesperson told Reality TV World on Friday.

"[The producers only] anticipate [broadcasting] one jury house package before the end of the season," a CBS spokesperson told Reality TV World on Friday. Hmmm, I wonder if that's merely a reason to get an extra episode out of it (one that's all about the sequester house) for the extra ad money (obviously they'd get it, lol). Well, it probably could fill an entire hour episode by doing it that way. And I'm sure I'll watch it, lol. |

This was reported on another board on 9/2: Jury House May be Shown This week ""[The producers only] anticipate [broadcasting] one jury house package before the end of the season," a CBS spokesperson told Reality TV World on Friday." (from Reality TV World)
A source at CBS said that this week may be the one where the jury house is shown, and that they hadn't shown anything because the hurricane had delayed their entry into the house. They also said that something happened with Jen (which we may or may not see, depending on what the producers decide). |

Jen because she found the envelope on the couch, and Dustin because of the reporter slip-up Gah - morons! BB really screwed up by leaving the envelope on the couch (I assume in the diary room, right?). I wonder if that reporter lost his job or his beat, lol. It's a pisser, cuz I'd love to see them each arrive and see some of what goes on in there (like they're supposed to show, lol). |
